TNA SLAMMIVERSARY UPDATE, STORM UPDATE, BIG FOUR WAY HEADLINING KENTUCKY EVENTS AND MORE NEWS

By Mike Johnson on 2012-03-07 09:35:56
TNA President Dixie Carter announced that this June's Slammiversary event will be on the road and that she was "excited" to go into the market they will be running. For those who have asked, I am told it's not New York City, which seemed to have been a rumor the last few days.

Expect a promotional tour for James Storm to help push his theme song being released as a country single. By the way, that is a great idea and I am surprised something like this hasn't been done before. Even if the song doesn't get over as a massive hit, getting talents out there for interviews and such allows them to present themselves and the business in a strong fashion and that creates awareness of the TNA brand and converts people into fans.

There's been some talk of creating some original content that would be streamed online and via Roku boxes through the TNAOnDemand website, which is a great idea to push that project.

The Bischoffs are the center of this week's TNA Impact Wrestling preview:

The lineup for tomorrow's house show in Covington, KY and Friday in Corbin, KY features:

*TNA champ Bobby Roode vs. Kurt Angle vs. James Storm vs. Bully Ray
*AJ Styles vs. Kazarian
*TNA Knockouts Champion Gail Kim vs. Tara
*Ken Anderson vs. Christopher Daniels
*Alex Shelley vs. Kid Kash
*Eric Young vs. Rob Terry
