ORIGINAL ECW TITLE BEING BROUGHT BACK OUT OF RETIREMENT, ONE ECW TALENT NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT

By Mike Johnson on 2012-03-02 23:20:58
Resistance Pro in Chicago is running an angle where Rhino, the last ECW World champion of the original Extreme Championship Wrestling, will be bringing the title belt (which he still has possession of) out of retirement and putting it against Resistance Pro champion Harry Smith at the promotion's 3/23 return to Chicago.

Lou D'Angeli, who worked as Lou E. Dangerously in ECW, has been ripping the idea for its lack of creativity on his twitter at this link, sparking a back and forth.

Given D'Angeli's background with promoter Billy Corgan, this could obviously be some sort of storyline, but either way, it's a pretty interesting back and forth read.
