Is Undertaker cutting his hair in those video promos playing off some old TV show/movie/etc? Otherwise it looks seriously weird and makes no sense as to why he’d be cutting his hair in the videos… would it be that horrible to have Taker just appear on TV with shorter hair? It’s almost like they’re making too big a deal out of it…
I don't get why they are doing it either. It comes across as pretty goofy to me. It would not surprise me if it is a reference to some past movie that someone on the creative team recently saw. They do that kind of stuff all the time.
Ok, WTF is up with the WWE... Last year they announce the Rock vs. Cena for the WWE Title at Wrestlemania this year, but just last night on Raw they had Jercho win a battle royal for a shot at CM Punk and the WWE Title at Wrestlemania. What gives? All the way up to Punk winning the EC match, I was half hoping that Johnny Ace would send either Cena or the Rock down to the ring to take Jericho's place. I know creative plays fast and loose with their storylines, but you can't really expect me to believe they forgot the big selling point of this years 'mania, Rock V Cena for WWE Title...
They never announced it as a title match, just as a bout of epic proportions. It is most certainly that. Frankly, I think it would a mistake to make it a title match. It makes more sense to have a separate title match and make this a headliner just because of who is involved.
CM Punk…Chris Brown; are we being set up?
It is always possible but my gut says no. I think Punk meant everything he said and thinks that Brown is a lowlife.
I'm a little disappointed in how the match between Triple H and Taker has finally come together. After all the cool "no's" from HHH, I thought agreeing to the match only because Taker said that HBK is better, comes across weak to me. After all the business talk and coward-things there should be a much more important reason for Hunter. Your thoughts?
I don't mind Shawn interjecting into the storyline but you make a point. Taker should have been able to change HHH's mind on his own. After all, he is the damn Undertaker!
What is the backstage opinion about the fans chanting "What?" during promos (like the Undertakers on Raw). I am a huge Stone Cold fan but I think this is one impression he left that don't care for. Your thoughts?
A few of the guys don't mind it since it is a reaction but for the most part guys think it's kind of goofy since it's something that's time has come and has long since passed.
