While watching the segment of Raw (2/20) where John Laurinaitis and Teddy Long set up the battle royal, I had a terrifying thought, Laurinaitis vs. Teddy at WrestleMania for total control of both shows. What do you think the chances of that happening are?
Any chance at all is way higher than it should be. Two old non-wrestlers have no place on a WrestleMania card. If they choose to do that mess at all, it shouldn't be on a show that people pay money to see.
If there are some guys in the back so ticked off that the Rock is taking their spot, why aren't we hearing the same criticism directed towards Chris Jericho? Granted The Rock is coming in as Mr. Hollywood and is getting a chunk of money for being involved but regardless both scenarios are very similar.
That is a very good point. I guess they would say that Jericho didn't leave that long ago but that doesn't hold any weight with me. They would also probably say that they think Rock is acting Hollywood and Jericho isn't. But the fact remains that Jericho came back for a top spot run at the most lucrative time of the year. Just as someone won't get to work against John Cena due to Rock, the same holds true with CM Punk due to Jericho. The situations are very similar.
What the hell happened to Alex Riley? He was rolling into a top spot and then was hit by a freight train and is nowhere to be found (mostly)…what did he do?
Vince McMahon soured on him, for whatever reason. I agree with you, Riley was getting over more than they planned for during his program with The Miz. The smart thing to do would have been to run with and see where it went. Instead, like they have done with so many other young guys, they killed his push. It's insane. When something falls in their lap they should use it and be thankful for it but they rarely do. I wish I could understand why that is.
What's the latest with the app for the Iphone ?
It is still in development. We have to release it in such a way that it doesn't end up costing us revenue, which is a real concern. Obviously, we need to generate revenue to stay in business and continue to deliver the content that we do, so we have to make the proper moves where additions like the app are concerned.
Still even after Ron Simmons's induction in the HOF, and they STILL are not even acknowledging Mil Mascaras! To me that is so disrespectful! If I were MM, I would say Screw you to VM; I deserve better. Why are they doing this? And how do you feel about this incredible sight to an incredible wrestler and legend?
I would say the same thing if I were him. I have no idea why they are doing what they are doing but it makes no sense. They have already announced that the guy is going to be in the HOF so I don't get why they are ignoring it now either.
