WWE SIGNS DGUSA TALENT, MORE ON THE WAY? DRAGON GATE USA NEWS UPDATES

By Mike Johnson on 2012-02-24 15:16:15
WWE signed DGUSA referee Jason Harding to a developmental deal. He is already heading to FCW. In recent months, a number of DGUSA stars have been told they are on WWE's radar so I wouldn't be shocked to see others signed in the next several months.

All roads for the promotion right now lead to the Wrestlemania weekend events in Hollywood, FL and Miami Beach. The Hollywood event, which will feature two CZW Death Matches to close the show, went on sale this morning at www.DGUSA.tv. The Miami shows are selling very well for the promotion, and have rapidly outpaced where they were at this time the last several years over Wrestlemania weekend.

The 3/31 iPPV will be headlined by Akira Tozawa and CIMA leading six man teams into battle. Ricochet has been announced for CIMA's team. The idea here is to build the six man match by revealing competitors slowly. Sabu vs. Sami Callihan is also set for that event, which you can order by clicking the poster below:

If you didn't get a chance to see the Sami Callihan promo from a few days ago, it's worth going out of your way to see. In this month alone, Callihan will be working in Mexico, Germany, Japan and Switzerland.

DGUSA Open the Freedom Gate champion Johnny Gargano, who has been out of action since EVOLVE 10, will work a six man tag on the 3/29 Hollywood, FL debut - Ronin of Johnny Gargano, Chuck Taylor & Rich Swann vs. Blood Warriors of Akira Tozawa, BxB Hulk & Uhaa Nation vs. D.U.F. of Sami Callihan, Arik Cannon & Pinkie Sanchez. Gargano's status for whether he will be able to work the Miami shows is up in the air right now, as is his title run.

The EVOLVE 10 DVD, which closed the ECW Arena, is now available for pre-order at www.dgusa.tv.

Added to the 3/30 iPPV is Masaaki Mochizuki vs. Akira Tozawa. Previously announced is Low Ki vs. Pac, A Street Fight featuring Sabu & Jon Davis vs. Arik Cannon & Pinkie Sanchez, Sami Callihan vs. BxB Hulk and AR Fox vs. Uhaa Nation. This will be the $1.99 PPV, which you can order http://www.wwnlive.com/signup.php?id=231.

Bobby Fish, who has been a regular for EVOLVE, is booked for all three Florida events.

The DGUSA Untouchable DVD has been released, featuring:

* Johnny Gargano vs. Akira Tozawa
