WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: BRYAN VERSUS PUNK; TEDDY VERSUS LAURINAITIS?; YOUR NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS FOR THE TAG TITLES?; A LOT OF VIDEO PACKAGES

We are live from Rockford, Illinois and your announcers are Josh ‘Epic Announcer’ Mathews, Booker ‘Epic Linguistics’ T, and Michael ‘Epic Epicosity’ Cole.

The two men who survived the Elimination Chamber matches will face each other tonight. We will also see Big Show versus Mark Henry.

Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring and he is joined by AJ Lee. We see photos from the Elimination Chamber when Sheamus used his stealth powers to attack Daniel Bryan after his victory.

Bryan says that back in July when he won the Smackdown Money in the Bank contract and he said that he would main event Wrestlemania, there was no one who believed him. No one watching at home believed him. Yet, here he stands as your World Heavyweight Champion. Daniel says that he is going to the main event of Wrestlemania.

Daniel mentions Santino Marella and he says that Santino was trying to channel Rocky Balboa going into the chamber match. Bryan says that he is a role model and the real Rocky story. Daniel says that Santino, the Great Khali, Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett, and the Big Show were all beaten by him. Daniel pulls a Rocky and tells AJ that he did it.

Daniel mentions that after he was physically spent after beating five people and was celebrating, his moment was ruined. His moment was ruined by Sheamus. Now it is his turn. Bryan says that he is going to ruin Sheamus’ moment at Wrestlemania. He will show Sheamus and everyone that he will be victorious.

He says that he will be victorious against CM Punk. Bryan starts to talk about being the best in the world, . . .

and Bryan is interrupted by the Miz who makes his way to the ring. Miz comments on how Bryan is the World Champion. Miz wonders who would have thunk it. Miz says that Daniel isn’t the only person who thought he would be the World Champion, he did because he molded and mentored Bryan into a champion. Miz says that he knew that Bryan had the skill and temperament to become champion.

Miz says that he is not out here for thanks or to steal the spotlight. Miz wants to congratulate Bryan on being in the main event of Wrestlemania, just like he did last year. Miz tells Bryan that as he continues to follow in his footsteps and after he embarrasses Sheamus at Wrestlemania. Miz suggests that they should form a tag team.

Sheamus interrupts Miz and he says that he wants to congratulate Daniel Bryan on being a massive arse. He wants to congratulate Bryan on being a hypocrite. He says that Bryan is no role model. He calls Bryan a coward who would rather hide behind a woman’s skirt instead of fight like a man.

He also congratulates Bryan for hanging out with someone as conceited as him. When Wrestlemania is over, people won’t be congratulating him, they will be saying that Bryan got what he deserved.

Miz tells Sheamus that he deserves to be taken down a notch or two. Miz wants to know why Sheamus came out to steal the thunder of Daniel Bryan.

Sheamus tells Miz to let the lads who have matches at Wrestlemania talk. Bryan slaps Sheamus and leaves the ring. Sheamus sends Miz over the top rope to the floor.

We go to commercial.

Match Number One: Sheamus versus Miz

We are back and the match is joined in commercial with Sheamus having Miz in an arm bar and then he turns it into a key lock. Miz with punches and a kick but Sheamus sends Miz over the top rope to the apron. Sheamus with forearms across the chest and Miz goes to the floor. Sheamus goes to the floor and he kicks Miz. Sheamus sends Miz back into the ring and Sheamus with a shoulder from the apron followed by the slingshot shoulder tackle and he gets a near fall.

Miz drops Sheamus’ arm on the top rope to stop him but Sheamus with a forearm to a charging Miz. Sheamus with a European uppercut but he misses a charge into the corner when Miz moves and Sheamus hits the ring post.

Miz sends Sheamus into the post again. Miz returns Sheamus into the ring and he hits a single arm DDT and gets a near fall. Miz with an arm bar but Sheamus punches him. Miz with a boot to Sheamus and then he punches Sheamus in the head. Miz sets for the Awesome clothesline and he hits it. Miz goes up top and hits a double sledge. Miz with a boot to Sheamus’ head and he gets a near fall.

Miz with a key lock. Miz with kicks to Sheamus but Sheamus punches back. Miz with punches and kicks but Sheamus with a clothesline and a series of double sledges. Sheamus with a splash into the corner followed by a uranage back breaker for a near fall.

Sheamus runs into an elbow and Sheamus tries for a power slam but Miz escapes and hits Reality Check for a near fall. Miz signals for the Skull Crushing Finale but Sheamus blocks it and he connects with an elbow and hip lock. Sheamus misses the Brogue kick and Miz with a rollup for a near fall. Sheamus with the Celtic Cross to Miz for the three count.

Winner: Sheamus

We are in Teddy’s office and the saxophones are playing while Teddy talks about how much he loves what Aksana is wearing. Aksana says that she wants Teddy to be the General Manager of both shows. She says that on top of every man is a good woman.

John Laurinaitis enters with his significant other David Otunga and his coffee mug. John says that Teddy’s behavior is why he should be the general manager of both shows.

Teddy says that he has picked a special place for John’s office. Teddy says that John’s office has its own bathroom. He tells John that it says M-E-N on the door.

David says that Teddy’s office should be in the dumpster after he beats Ezekiel Jackson tonight.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Kofi Kingston and R Truth versus Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger with Vickie Guerrero

Truth and Swagger start things off and they lock up with Truth applying a side head lock. Truth dances and punches Swagger. Truth knocks Ziggler off the apron but Swagger with a shoulder tackle followed by the double jump Swagger Bomb for a near fall. Swagger sends Truth into the turnbuckles and Ziggler is tagged in. Ziggler with a snap mare and a leaping elbow drop and then he does some sit ups before putting Truth in a quarter nelson and chin lock.

Truth punches Ziggler and then Truth avoids a splash and Kofi is tagged in and he hits a springboard clothesline followed by a drop kick. Kofi misses a splash into the corner but Kofi with a pendulum kick and then Kofi with a cross body for a near fall.

All four men are in the ring until Swagger ducks down and Truth goes to the floor. Kofi clotheslines Swagger over the top rope to the floor. Ziggler with a thumb to the eye and then he hits the Zig Zag on Kofi for the three count.

Winners: Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler

After the match, Swagger does push ups on the title belt.

We go to footage from the next episode of Face/Off.

We see footage from last week when Big Show knocked out Mark Henry in Teddy Long’s office. We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time to see the video package for Ron Simmons, who was announced last night as the newest inductee.

We go back to the Eugene music and it is time for the Cobra to attack cups on a table. He stops the cobra from attacking him and he says that it is target practice. Heath Slater tells Santino that he has a better way to get the cups off the table and he knocks them off. Santino says that he Heath shouldn’t have done that because it isn’t an ordinary Cobra. This one spits venom.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Three: Great Khali versus Drew McIntyre

Drew tells Khali to leave and he apologizes but then he pushes Khali. Khali keeps Drew from leaving the ring and he chops Drew and then he hits the choke slam for the three count.

Winner: Great Khali

We take a look back at the end of the battle royal that allowed Chris Jericho to become CM Punk’s opponent for Wrestlemania.

Big Show is in the back and Matt brings up Cody Rhodes. Show says that Cody is on the top of his you know what list. Show says that he is probably on the top of Henry’s list but he will knock Henry out. Show says that whenever he gets his hands on Cody Rhodes, he will snap his neck.

We are back with the WWE Rewind: Big Show knocking out Mark Henry last week on Smackdown.

Match Number Four: Mark Henry versus Big Show

Show with a kick and punches to Henry and he lays in a flurry followed by a head butt and a charge into the corner. Show tries for the punch but Henry ducks and Henry takes Show down and he connects with an elbow drop. Henry with a head butt to Show and then he kicks Show. Show with punches as he gets back to his feet. Henry with a clothesline followed by a double sledge to the back for a near fall.

Henry stands on Show’s chest and then he argues with the referee. Henry chokes Show in the ropes. Henry punches Show as he taunts him. Henry with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot. Show with a clothesline followed by a spear. Show signals for the choke slam but Cody Rhodes interrupts.

Cody says that if Show is choke slamming someone, it must not be Wrestlemania. Cody mentions Show’s match against Akebono and he says that Show made an ass of himself. We have a video package of Another Embarrassing Big Show Wrestlemania Moment.

Show turns around and Henry with a slam and then he hits a splash but Show kicks out. Show with a punch and Henry goes down but Show does not cover him and Show goes after Cody Rhodes.

Winner: Mark Henry by count out

It is time for the Raw Rebound.

We are back with a clip of ‘Are You Serious’ from YouTube.

Teddy Long comes out to the ring and he has to dance because that is what serious general managers do.

John Laurinaitis comes out and he mocks Teddy’s dance.

Ezekiel Jackson appears in the Goldman Box and he says that he let everyone on Smackdown down last night but he will take care of Otunga tonight.

Match Number Four: Ezekiel Jackson versus David Otunga in an Did you really want to see the rematch so soon Match

Otunga with forearms across the chest but Jackson with a shoulder tackle followed by punches to Otunga. Jackson with a running clothesline into the corner followed by an Irish whip and splash. Jackson with a side slam and then he gets Otunga up for the Torture Rack. Otunga gets to the ropes and then Otunga drops Jackson on the top rope and Otunga with the World’s Most Dangerous Spinebuster for the three count.

Winner: David Otunga

We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time to take a look back at Eve’s ability to give away her plan in front of a live camera and not think anyone would watch.

Matt Striker is with CM Punk in the interview area. Matt asks Punk about his match with Daniel Bryan and Punk says that it is great to be back on Smackdown and he likes the general manager on Smackdown. Punk suggests that Snicklefritz should have fun with his job at Men’s Wearhouse. Punk says that he will address Jericho and his Lite-Brite jacket. Punk says that if Bryan tells AJ to shave her head, he will sue for copyright infringement. Punk says that he will teach Bryan how to lose tonight.

Match Number Five: Daniel Bryan versus CM Punk in a Champion versus Champion Non Title Match

They lock up and Punk with a clean break. They lock up again and Bryan with a take down into an arm bar and wrist lock. Punk with a reversal into a side head lock. Punk with a shoulder tackle and Bryan misses a drop kick but Punk with a rollup and Bryan with a counter. Punk with a side head lock take down and Bryan with a head scissors. Bryan with an arm drag and Punk with a head scissors and Bryan escapes as we go to commercial.

We are back and Bryan with a side head lock. Punk with a knee to the midsection and then he hits a seated splash onto Bryan for a near fall. Bryan starts to work on Punk’s arm and then he kicks him in the shoulder. Bryan with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot. Punk goes up for a cross body but Bryan moves out of the way.

Bryan focuses on the injured arm and then he stomps on the arm. Bryan with kicks to the chest and then he works on the arm some more. Punk with forearms but Bryan with a Northern Lights suplex and boot to the injured arm. Bryan gets a near fall.

Bryan with kicks to the chest but Punk blocks a kick and Punk misses an elbow drop. Bryan with a knee to the chest and then he applies a modified surfboard on Punk. Punk tries to fight through the pain as Bryan continues to work on the arm. Punk with a back breaker but Punk holds his knee.

Punk tries to get feeling back into his injured arm as they struggle to get back to their feet. Punk with kicks to Bryan followed by a leg lariat and clothesline. Bryan misses a kick and Punk gets Bryan up for the Go to Sleep but Bryan avoids it and then he tries for the LeBell Lock and Punk misses a kick.

Bryan leaves the ring and Sheamus sends Bryan back into the ring and Punk with a round kick for the three count.

Winner: CM Punk

After the match SnickleFritz Laurinaitis comes out and he says that he will not let this injustice take place and the match will continue.

Punk with a kick and chops to Punk. Punk with a knee to the midsection as John takes a seat at ringside.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Bryan is in control of the match and he kicks Punk. We see Johnny text while Punk connects with forearms. We see footage from the commercial when Punk mocked Bryan outside the ring.

Punk with a rollup and Bryan reverses and grabs the ropes.

Winner: Daniel Bryan

Guess who comes out and he tells the playas that the match won’t end like that.

John and Teddy argue and the match is restarted.

Punk with forearms and Bryan with kicks. Punk iwht more forearms and then he misses a punch. Punk sends Bryan over the top rope to the floor and then Punk hits a suicide dive and both men are down against the ringside barrier.

Punk sends Bryan back into the ring for the springboard clothesline and he hits it. Punk gets a near fall. Punk goes for the running knee into the corner and he hits it. Punk tries for the bulldog but Bryan with an arm wringer. Bryan sets for a running drop kick into the corner and he hits it and Bryan gets a near fall.

Bryan with a European uppercut and then he puts Punk on the turnbuckles and Bryan sets for a rana and hits it but Punk rolls through and gets a near fall. Bryan with kicks to Punk but Punk ducks on the third one and Punk with a rollup. Bryan tries for the LeBell Lock and Punk blocks it and he catapults Bryan into the turnbuckles and Punk with a round kick and Punk gets a near fall because Bryan gets his foot on the ropes.

Punk goes up top for the elbow drop but Bryan crotches Punk and Bryan pulls Punk up for a superplex but Punk with a head butt to knock Bryan off. Bryan with a forearm to Punk on the turnbuckles but Punk knocks Bryan off again. Bryan with a forearm to Punk on the turnbuckles and then Bryan tries for the superplex again and this time he hits it. Both men with a cover and the referee makes the three count.

Double Pin

Teddy and John argue over who won, but maybe we should find out who the referee says won the match.

John goes into the ring to raise Bryan’s hand. Teddy goes into the ring to raise Punk’s hand.

Teddy and John argue in the ring and John wants a fight and Teddy takes off his jacket too. They throw Teddy’s jacket a few times and then Teddy leaves the ring.
