BIG MATCH SET FOR LIVE SMACKDOWN TONIGHT, WADE BARRETT OUT OF WRESTLEMANIA, PUNK HELPS OUT HIS FRIENDS AND MORE

WWE has a live Smackdown special tonight on SyFy, emanating from Rockford, IL.    The show will be headlined by CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan.  If you are going to the show and can send a report, please click my name above.

To follow up on Mike Johnson's report on Wade Barrett's elbow dislocation that he suffered at Raw last night, WWE.com reported today that Barrett will be undergoing an MRI and will miss at least 6 to 8 weeks, which means he is out for WrestleMania.  That was a stiff spot for sure.

Nick Lindsay sent word that Daniel Bryan vs. The Big Show was announced locally for the 2/28 Smackdown taping in Seattle, WA.

After the Elimination Chamber PPV on Sunday, CM Punk tweeted, " "Who should I wrestle at Wrestlemania, maybe @cliffcompton."  Compton is currently training for the upcoming Road Diaries with Colt Cabana. Punk always takes care of his friends whenever he can.  I respect that.
