TNA TRYING TO SIGN FORMER WWE STARS, THE PROCESS OF RETIRING FROM WWE AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2012-02-23 10:00:00

Do you expect TNA to sign former WWE star John Morrison either this year or in 2012?

No, I suspect that if when Morrison wants to go back on TV, he'll go back to WWE.

I realize that its probably already been stated but what are the chances of former WWE Diva Maryse signing with TNA?

Zero.  She is done with wrestling beyond getting paid a ton to do signings.  She doesn't want to work anywhere else in wrestling as she's concentrating on non-wrestling ventures.

Here's a suggestion: Place announcer Michael Cole back into his booth but make it an isolation booth. No sound coming from it. One way to fight noise pollution. Some might say that Cole may be one of the reasons for a drop in ratings. what do you think?

I think you may have earned a Nobel Peace Prize.

When former WWE Divas star/champion Michelle McCool retired what process did she have to go through to obtain retirement status with WWE? Was it easy for her to retire from wrestling while with WWE or did she have to go through some process in order to retire? Was her contract about to expire? If someone wanted to retire could they do so as Michelle McCool did?

What process?  She gave notice that she was finishing up.  Most performers may have gotten pressure not to leave but since she's married to Undertaker, that carries a completely different level of clout.  She set an end date and did what was asked of her on the way out.  If someone wants to leave, WWE really can't force them to remain wrestling.

Is it still Kurt Angle's intention to take part in the Olympics in London or was that just a lot of hot air?

If you ask Angle, it's absolutely going to happen.  But, Angle sort of lives in his own world, so, we shall see.
