PROMOTER FALSELY ADVERTISING WARRIOR AND EDGE APPEARANCES SKIPS TOWN

By Mike Johnson on 2012-02-11 10:21:35
As PWInsider.com noted in recent weeks, a promoter named Brendon Bronson of Omega Sports in Queensbury New York, had been falsely advertising wrestling talent to appear at his store in the Aviation Mall, including former WWF champion The Ultimate Warrior and former WWE champion Edge, both of whom publicly came out to deny they had been booked for any appearances.

Several angry readers sent word this morning that Omega Sports was advertising a signing by former WWE star Rikishi today and had sold pre-sale tickets on the appearance. When they arrived at the Mall today for the appearance, the store was closed and had been cleaned out of all its stock. The store had been open as late as yesterday, selling tickets for the appearance.

One reader stated that "around 400 fans" were waiting for the Rikishi appearance.
