I know we still have to get through 28 and 29, but what do you think of the idea of WrestleMania 30 being held at Yankee Stadium? Sure, it's not the ORIGINAL Yankee Stadium, but it's still considered one of the country's most famous venues, and could result in a huge draw for WWE.
I love the Yanks, as many of you know, but I think the idea of having a show outside at a time when the average low is 40 degrees is INSANE. How would you like to be standing in a ring in your underwear in 40 degree weather? Even if they have portable heaters around the ring, it's probably going to be too cold for the guys who have to work it. I think it's nuts. If they can do it in the summer, fine. In the early spring, it's crazy.
So "The Board" decided to keep JL as Interim GM of Raw. And they did not say why. But here's my question : When HHH came out and was going to obviously fire him, (especially his comments the week after), he said that "The Board" told him that he was welcome at any time to return and be the GM again. So how does that figure into the storyline, or is that something we are again supposed to have forgotten about?
It's WWE is the best answer I can give for those times, which happen too often, where logic flies out the window.
Now, is it just my imagination or am I seeing a WHC match between Wade Barrett and Sheamus? The way things are going for Daniel Bryan, I'm assuming (though I hope not) that he would be losing the title at the Elimination (borrowing this from Johnny Ace) PPV. I hope they just go with Sheamus vs. Bryan, as that would be the best wrestling match on all the possible combinations out there for the WHC match.
It is pretty hard to believe that Bryan will go into the show defending the title but the flip side is that he could be fed to Sheamus, who could win the title in a "WrestleMania moment". As I type this on 2/10, I could see it going that way. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me at all if it does.
After watching Monday Night Raw and seeing the vicious fall that R-Truth took then reading about MIZ being disciplined, have you heard any regrets from the MIZ on what happened? I know accidents do take place in this business but he should have said something...
I have heard he was very upset about his mistake backstage, both before and after he got chewed out by HHH. He should have been because he really screwed up. Badly.
