MATT HARDY RETURNING TO THE RING, MASKED WRESTLERS IN AIRPORTS, LEGACY OF THE KLIQ AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2012-02-10 10:00:00

I was just thinking about something and would love your opinion on it. Out of all the kliq, who would you say is going to leave the biggest impression on the wrestling world, in a good way? Also who'll leave the biggest impression in a bad way?  Shawn Michaels with his legendary career, and his previous backstage attitudes and involvement in the Montreal, Kevin Nash for his original involvement in the nWo and the way it changed wrestling at the time, and then his booking in WCW. Triple H for marrying into the McMahon family? Sean Waltman for making that movie with Chyna and subjecting the world to that *unique* sight. Scott Hall for his time as Razor Ramon and during the nWo invasion with Nash, and his subsequent problems. Or Justin Credible... Thanks again guys love the sight, sorry that went on so long

In terms of a legacy, I don't think there is any question that Shawn Michaels, from an in-ring standpoint, will have left the best legacy, but I'm going to go with Triple H.  He wields far more political power and stroke than any other member of the clique and that power will only grow with time as Vince McMahon gets older.  In terms of the worst, that's really subjective, but I'll go with Scott Hall, because (in the long term) he did the least with the most amount of talent and still has issues to this day despite many of his closest friends trying to support him and every major company giving him chance after chance.  I know that a lot of fans really detest Kevin Nash but the reality is that he overachieved in the business and at the end of the day, he walked out with much more money than anyone would have ever predicted.

I'd like to know where is Rhino?

Rhino is working independents and will be working the 4/28 Extreme Reunion show.

What do you think of Matt Hardy wrestling again?

As long as he is physically OK to work and doing better health-wise, I have no problem with him being back in the ring.  Hardy was a hell of a hand and if he can get back to form, he'll do really well on the independents.  As I have written before, I wanted to see him get his health and life in order before he worries about his career and all signs are he's indeed doing that.  I wish him the best.

Any news regarding the status of Triple H vs. Undertaker.

You'll see it at Wrestlemania 28.

How do Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio travel with his mask when it comes to airport security? I'm sure they make them take it off or something. But at the same time, there are so many other people around, that unmasking would allow them to reveal himself to everyone around to see.

WWE's Luchadors don't travel with their masks on but many of them will put the masks on as they are heading into the building.  They would never get through five feet of an airport masked!
