When Christian makes his return, is it possible that he would become a face again? With the many heels that are on Smackdown now, wouldn't it make more sense to have another top face, next to Randy Orton and Show.

You have Sheamus too.  I wouldn't have a problem with them making him a face because he can do it, but they had him in that role and turned him which leads me that they see him as a heel.

With Mark Henry hurting his knee this week on Smackdown, my question is this. Why make Henry work in the first place? I know he was dealing with a bad quad or groin which ultimately cost him his world title. I have heard that he is a tough guy and wants to work through the pain and all that BUT Henry was the best thing going for WWE during his push to become the champ as well as his time as the champ. Why not do an angle where someone lays him out so he can have time off to rehab the injury rather than work through it?

The main reason is it's WrestleMania time, which means the biggest bonus of the year.  Henry has worked hard all year and deserves a spot on Mania but he also needs to be able to perform so running him ragged is not the way to get him there.  He's been given time off to deal with his injuries after playing good soldier and trying to work around them since they are so thin on the talent side.

I like Brodus Clay. My question is, why is everyone throwing a fit about him? He's entertaining, and he's a beast in the ring. Don't hate the gimmick, hate how its booked. We loved Junkyard Dog, right? Goofy character. I don't see any difference between Dusty Rhodes and (the potential of) Brodus Clay as far as character goes and Dusty was well liked. IF booked right... a big if... but if booked right, why couldn't he be taken seriously as a competitor? His character is energetic and fun. Hell, when does his shirt come out? I'll buy two!

If they book it right.....there's a problem right there.  WWE often doesn't book things right.  Why I hate it is that they branded him a midcard guy the second that they put it on him.  I don't know if he has what it takes to be a WWE or World champion but we won't ever find out as long as he is in this gimmick.

Regarding the reader who asked on January 29th about backstage segments and the obvious camera, I assume he/she hasn't watched TNA in a few years because Impact Wrestling's backstage segments have used the "hidden camera" aspect for them since Bischoff and Hogan entered the company and PPVs stick with Jeremy Borash interviewing backstage between matches. I think this method is much better than WWE's "lets ignore this camera right next to us" method, would you agree or prefer that to disappear along with WWE's style of segment?

Of the two, I prefer the "hidden" camera to the "why the hell don't these dopes see a camera there" approach.

So I read your report on the Royal Rumble and your commentary afterwards. I too was sorely disappointed in the Rumble Match itself. Then you mentioned that what was sticking out from the match was the apparent lack of talent to fill the match. Really? Do they have a serious lack of talent? The way I see it, with a manager/announcer, three announcers, a returning woman’s wrestler, a hall of famer, the “retired-but-back-again” Foley, the Road Dogg, Khali, and two participants in championship matches from earlier in the evening, there were 11 spots that could have been filled with the likes of Mason Ryan, the other Uso, Tyler Reks, Heath Slater, Tyson Kidd, Yoshi Tatsu, Kurt Hawkins, JTG, Trent Barretta, William Regal, and, oh I don’t know, LAST YEAR’S WINNER Alberto Del Rio! Heck, you could have had Brodus and McIntyre move their squash match into the Rumble and have Brodus pull a Rikishi (2000, I believe) and throw out a half dozen guys before someone called his mamma. My question (sorry for the long preamble): why were these other superstars not used? What storylines were improved/forwarded by having Cole and Rodriguez in? I don’t object to all of the 11 I mentioned being in the Rumble, but over a third of the participants? Really?

Alberto was hurt, right off the bat, so he couldn't be in the Rumble. Reks?  Slater?  Kidd?  Tatstu?  Hawkins?  You think that makes the argument that they have a loaded roster?  I mean no disrespect to those guys because a big reason they are where they are is that they aren't given a chance but non of them are over.  Why were they in there?  Because creative thought that the guys you mentioned didn't belong.
