With the special nature of the Royal Rumble, Beyond The Numbers is going to take a look at what many people consider their favorite match of the year. After having fun with last year’s look back at the main event of the first pay per view of the year, it is time to jump back in keeping both feet from touching the floor.

The times that I have listed are based on my timing of the match so these totals might not be the same as other recaps you might see online.

1: Number of people who portrayed Sin Cara in the Rumble (Hunico)

4: Number of Wrestlers who lasted more than 20 minutes in the Royal Rumble (5 in 2011)

6: Number of Wrestlers who lasted more than 10 minutes in the Royal Rumble (14 in 2011)

2: Number of vehicles to bring a wrestler to the ring during the Royal Rumble (Alberto’s car and Hunico’s BICYCLE)

1: Number of wedgies in this year’s Royal Rumble (0 in 2011)

1: Number of Hand Puppet duels in Royal Rumble (0 in 2011)

2: Number of Times that Rosa Mendes did not come to the ring with a Tag Team Champion
