FLORIDA CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING REPORT FOR JANUARY 29: FCW 15 TITLE MATCH; WILLIAM REGAL RETURNS TO COMMENTARY; ANTONIO CESARO IN ACTION

We are live on tape from Tampa, Florida and your announcers are Chris ‘How About that other December taping’ Russo and William ‘Back where he belongs’ Regal.

Match Number One: Kenneth Cameron versus Calvin Raines

Raines tries for a kick but Cameron with a kick and European uppercut. Cameron with kicks to Raines in the corner. Raines with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot and then Cameron with a running back elbow and then he has something to say to Raines. Cameron with an elbow drop for a near fall. Cameron tries for another elbow drop but Raines gets his knees up.

Raines with a forearm but Cameron with a European uppercut. Raines with a shoulder tackle followed by forearms across the chest. Raines with an elbow drop for a near fall. Raines with a kick and forearm and then he goes to the apron and he uses his leg to keep Cameron in the corner while he chokes Cameron. Raines with a clothesline for a near fall. Raines with a half nelson and arm bar and Raines pulls Cameron to the mat.

Raines with another half nelson and arm bar but Cameron with an elbow. Raines with punches but Cameron with a forearm. They exchange forearms and kicks but Cameron with a kick to Raines. Raines tries for a running power slam but Cameron gets to the apron and he drops Raines on the top rope. Cameron screams and then he hits a spinning sit out jaw breaker for the three count.

Winner: Kenneth Cameron

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Mike Dalton and Xavier Woods versus Leo Kruger and Rick Victor

Woods and Kruger start things off and Kruger talks to Victor before locking up. Kruger with a side head lock and Victor tags in and Woods with a hip toss to Victor and a drop kick to Kruger. Woods with jabs to Victor followed by a split and a punch. Woods with a fist drop to the head. Dalton tags in and he connects with a punch from the forearm followed by a hip toss. Woods tags back in and he hits a drop kick from the turnbuckles for a near fall.

Victor with a punch and Kruger tags in and he kicks Woods. Kruger with a punch to Woods but Woods with a flying clothesline or two. Kruger with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot from Woods and Xavier with a somersault clothesline. Kruger goes to the floor and then Woods pulls Victor off the apron. Kruger with a baseball slide that sends Woods to the floor. Victor sends Woods into the apron.

Victor gets a near fall followed by a rear chin lock. Victor with a kick to the head and then Kruger tags back in. Kruger with a forearm to the back followed by a European uppercut. Victor tags in and he kicks Woods followed by a European uppercut. Kruger tags back in and he works on the back.

Kruger with a suplex for a near fall. Victor tags back in and he kicks Woods in the head followed by a chop. Woods motivates himself and he chops Victor. Woods tries to make the tag but Victor catches him. Woods is finally able to make the tag. Dalton with a flying forearm to Victor followed by a forearm to Kruger.

Victor with a spinning heel kick for a near fall but Kruger accidentally hits Victor. Woods with a kick to Kruger and then Dalton hits a neck breaker. Woods misses a pescado to the floor when Kruger moves. Dalton goes up top and he kicks Kruger away but Victor with a running European uppercut and then he hits a Gibson Driver for the three count.

Winners: Rick Victor and Leo Kruger

Aksana is in the back and she is crying. Leo Kruger stops by to see what is going on. Aksana says that she cannot believe that he did that to her. Kruger tells her that he will take care of this. Leo goes away and Aksana has that evil look on her face.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Abraham Washington is in Maxine’s office. James Bronson is also there. Abe says that he got Maxine’s text and he appreciates the offer back into the office. He says that you always remember your first. Maxine says that she appreciated Abe as the General Manager and she has an offer to Abe. Maxine wants Abe to be her assistant. Abe says that he is not number two to anybody. He thinks about it and he says that he will do it.

Maxine introduces Abe to ‘Dr. Bronson’ the new psychologist in FCW. Abe gets confused. Maxine wants Bronson to do an interview with him.

Danielle and Rob Naylor enter the office and he gives Maxine Danielle’s business card. She tells Maxine that she has some competition now and she is not going anywhere. Maxine wants to know when she hired a comedian and a clown. They leave.

Byron Saxton is in the ring and he introduces Bo Rotundo. Byron mentions that Bo is cleared to wrestle again. Bo says that the rumors are true. His plan for his return is to win the title back. He says that he never lost the title. He says that he wants one shot at the title and he figures that the fans want to see it. Bo says that he will get the FCW Title back.

Before Byron can ask another question, he is interrupted by Leo Kruger’s music and he is accompanied by Aksana.

Leo wants to know what type of man Bo is. He says that Bo is not a man at all. Now Bo comes out and challenges him for the title. He tells Bo that he has to start from the bottom like everyone else. Leo tells Bo not to worry about the Florida Championship. Leo says that he will teach Bo the way to treat a lady.

Referees come out to separate Leo and Bo while Aksana stands in the middle of the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Mister Antonio Cesaro comes to the ring and he has something to say. He says that when he grew up in Switzerland, he was a big fan of America. The United States was the great super power. Imagine his disappointment to see that America is not a super power, it is weak. If he wants to see a super power, all he has to do is look in the mirror.

Big E Langston’s music plays and he interrupts Antonio.

Match Number Three: Mister Antonio Cesaro versus Big E Langston

They lock up and Cesaro cannot move Langston and Langston sends Antonio to the mat. Cesaro tries for a full nelson but Langston pushes Cesaro down. Cesaro with a side head lock but Langston with a shoulder tackle. Langston with a biel but he misses a charge into the corner and Cesaro clips Langston and kicks him in the head.

Cesaro with forearms and then he chokes Langston in the ropes. Cesaro goes to the floor and he chokes Langston and follows it with a leaping European uppercut. Langston with a chin lock but Langston gets Antonio on his back and snap mares him. Langston misses an elbow drop and Cesaro punches Langston.

Cesaro with an elbow drop. Cesaro with an arm bar and he leaps onto Langston’s chest. Cesaro leaps onto the chest again and he does it a third time. Cesaro with knees to the midsection to limit Langston’s breathing. Langston with a back breaker and then he runs Cesaro into the corner. Langston runs him into another corner. Langston does it a third time. Langston with a running body block.

Cesaro begs for mercy but Langston pulls down the straps. Cesaro with a thumb to the eye when the referee was not looking followed by a boot to the head and then Cesaro chokes Langston while trapping the arm to add extra pressure and Langston taps out.

Winner: Antonio Cesaro

We go to commercial.

We are back and Damien Sandow demands the spotlight. He says that he will make an example of Richie Steamboat by defending and retaining the FCW 15 Title. He will not only make an example of the entire Steamboat Dynasty. Damien says that he will cement his spot at the top of FCW, the WWE, and the WWE Hall of Fame.

Match Number Four: Richie Steamboat versus Damien Sandow for the FCW 15 Championship

Sandow waits for the chants of ‘diva’ to stop. They lock up and Steamboat with a rollup for a near fall. They lock up again and Sandow with a rollup. Steamboat with an arm drag into an arm bar. Sandow with an arm drag but Steamboat holds on and Steamboat with an elbow drop and he applies a key lock. Sandow with a head scissors but Steamboat escapes. Steamboat with an arm drag into an arm bar followed by a hammer lock. Sandow with a drop toe hold into a front face lock but Steamboat with a hammer lock.

Sandow with an elbow but Steamboat with an arm drag into an arm bar. Sandow with a kick and forearm followed by a head butt. Steamboat with a kick and forearm. Sandow sees Steamboat tease a super kick so Sandow gets out of the ring. Steamboat with a baseball slide to Sandow.

Steamboat sends Sandow back into the ring and Steamboat goes up top for a chop to the head and a near fall. Steamboat with an arm bar and he rolls up Sandow for a near fall. Steamboat with an arm drag into an arm bar. Sandow misses a chop but Steamboat does not miss a chop.

Sandow with shoulders to the midsection and Sandow tries to send Steamboat into the turnbuckles. Sandow with a take down and he works on the knee but Steamboat kicks him off. Steamboat with a super kick for a three count.

Steamboat 1 Fall, Sandow 0 Falls. 11:09 Remaining in Match

Sandow gets back to his feet and Steamboat with a rollup for a near fall. Steamboat with an arm bar. Sandow with a forearm and a slam but he misses an elbow drop. Steamboat with a drop kick and then he clotheslines Sandow over the top rope to the floor. Steamboat goes for a baseball slide but Sandow pulls the ring skirt up and Sandow catches Steamboat and he punches Steamboat.

Sandow goes to the floor after Steamboat. Sandow catapults Steamboat into the ring steps. Sandow has something to say to Steamboat and pats him on the head before returning to the ring. Steamboat is unable to return to the ring and he is counted out.

Steamboat 1 Fall, Sandow 1 Fall. 8:45 Remaining in Match

Sandow is proud of what he did and we go to commercial.

We are back and we have a little more than six minute left in the match. Sandow with a snap mare and cravate. Steamboat with punches and forearms to Sandow followed by a chop. Sandow with a face buster for a near fall. Sandow with a reverse chin lock.

Steamboat gets to his feet but Sandow with a forearm to stagger Steamboat. Sandow with a near fall and we have less than five minutes to go. Steamboat with a kick and then he tries for another super kick but Sandow blocks it. Both men collide and go down. Steamboat and Sandow battle from their knees. Sandow and Steamboat send each other into the mat. Steamboat gains the advantage and he connects with forearms. The referee warns Steamboat as we go under three minutes remaining in the match.

Steamboat with a flying forearm for a near fall. Steamboat with an Irish whip into the corner and Steamboat comes off the ropes but Sandow with a clothesline for a near fall. Steamboat with a rollup for a near fall. Sandow with a jackknife cover for a near fall.

Steamboat with a jackknife cover for a near fall. Sandow with a double thrust to the throat and he chokes Steamboat in the ropes. Sandow sends Steamboat to the mat. Steamboat escapes a suplex and hits a super kick that sends Sandow to the mat. Steamboat tries to bring Sandow back into the ring and it takes him a long time to get Sandow back into the ring. Steamboat gets a near fall and we have less than half a minute to go.

Steamboat wants Sandow to get back to his feet and then Sandow tries for an inside cradle but Steamboat reverses and gets the three count.

Steamboat 2 Falls, Sandow 1 Fall. 10 Seconds Remain in Match

Steamboat with a forearm and time runs out.

Winner: Richie Steamboat 2 Falls to 1 Fall
