WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WWE PRODUCT, PUTTING HOUSE SHOWS ON THE WWE NETWORK, WHATEVER HAPPENED TO CENTER STAGE, MARTY VS. SHAWN AND MORE

What's the deal with Marty Jannetty? Is there genuine heat between him and Shawn? Or just Marty a bit bitter about how well Shawn has done since the Rockers ended?

If there are hard feelings, they are on Marty's end.  Kind of like Simon and Garfunkel, people thought that one guy would be the big star after they broke up and it ended up being the other guy.  Marty had his chances too, he just didn't do well with them.  If (and I say if) he is bitter at anyone, it should be himself for blowing so many chances.

Should WWE present house shows on its upcoming network?

That is an interesting idea.  Why not?  Lord knows they will have a lot of time to fill whenever they actually start the network.  I like the idea of doing a one or two camera shoot from a house show and airing it on Saturday night.

Cena + Ryder + Kane = WTF?! Right; wrong?

I hate it on many levels.  One, it's such bad theatre.  Cena is a horrible actor and even if he wasn't the storyline is insipid and unbelievable.  For another thing, they have made Ryder look like a goof and a coward instead of a guy who worked himself into a spot.  It's just horrible on all fronts.

This isn't exactly a question but I would like your thoughts on it. Over the past few years WWE hasn't been at its best, I think we agree on that. However I'm really believing that its not WWE's fault but the fans themselves, particularly the smarks. Over the past few months WWE has tried new things but the "smarks" criticize it no matter what, a few examples, they cry out for Punk to be champion and suddenly ratings decline sharply, Jericho returns and he is ripped apart by the same people who called for his return, Brodus Clay does something new, different and shocking but all I here is "he can only get to Rikishi level", even though 90% of wrestlers would probably be ecstatic with "Rikishi level", he got louder pops them anyone on the current roster. It seems they're never happy unless they're booing John Cena, whilst he's WWE champion and in the Main Event. If I was a creative member I wouldn't change a thing, what would be the point when all you do is get ridiculed for trying to do new things, Smarks are ruining Wrestling, they should try embracing a new storyline for a change. Taughts?

I see your points here but this statement kills your credibility: " If I was a creative member I wouldn't change a thing".  Really?  Buyrates are down.  Houses are down.  Ratings are down.  And you wouldn't change a thing?  Now, to your points, in order:

  • Yes, we agree that the WWE product hasn't been at its best for a while.
  • It's not the fans, or smarks, fault.  It's creative's fault.  They haven't booked great product.
  • Fans cried for the Punk that won the title against Cena last summer to be champ, not a watered down version stuck in a hopeless program with John Laurinaitis.  Big difference there fell.
  • I can only speak for myself but I haven't said that about Jericho.
  • Brodus had potential to at least be given a shot as a top heel.  Instead, they made him Rikishi 2012.  Sure, it's a nice spot on the card and he will make money.  I have said that.  But to me it makes more sense to see if you could get a better spot on the card and more money out of him rather that pigeonhole him into a mid-card gimmick.
  • I think only people with emotional problems are only happy if they are booing Cena.  I think most of us are happy when we are cheering a good product.
  • Smarks can't ruin WWE because WWE does not book to them.  Vince McMahon alone decides the company's direction and he is not doing shows with smarks in mind. Case in point, the above mentioned Cena-Kane storyline. Given then a lot of them will spend money on a good product though WWE should reconsider that position.

What happened to the Center Stage in Atlanta where WCW Saturday Night was taped? Was there any wrestling cards there after WCW folded?

It's been divided up into three entertainment venues.  Yes, ECW ran a TV taping there years ago.  I was there for it.  Cool venue. ROH ran their last year for a pair of Internet PPVs as well.
