BY THE NUMBERS TURNS 100: THE LONGEST RUNNING NUMBERS COLUMN IN PWINSIDER HISTORY

By Richard Trionfo on 2012-01-24 17:19:27
Time to get out the party favors because we have gone one hundred issues of By the Numbers (not the 100th Anniversary as the WWE would have described it). Little did I know back in February 2010 when I started this column that it would go this long and we are only eight weeks away from two years.

With the return of Ring of Honor to this week’s rotation, you would have thought that the totals would have gone up significantly, but when you take out Ring of Honor there was one more minute of wrestling from the five shows that aired last week. With Ring of Honor having a below average total this week, the total increase from last week was only nineteen minutes.

This was the sixth straight week that Impact was the winner and for the second week in a row led with only twenty-six minutes. Raw finished third again with their third straight week of twenty-one minutes of wrestling.

Thanks to the inclusion of Ring of Honor, we passed the thirteen thousand minute barrier this week. While the total passed thirteen thousand, Superstars feel eight minutes short of two thousand minutes of wrestling.

The time for the Jeff Hardy/James Storm match is from the bell until Bully Ray knocked out Brian Hebner.

The time for the Mark Henry/Daniel Bryan match is from the bell until all of the lumberjacks enter the ring.

The wrestling times below cover the wrestling that takes place during the show so commercials are not included. All times are rounded to the closest minute (examples: a 4:23 match will be listed as 4 minutes while a 4:32 match will be listed as 5 minutes and anything under a minute is rounded up to a minute).
