YOUR LAST CHANCE TO SEE THE FORMER ECW ARENA TONIGHT ON TV

NBS Sports Network, formerly Versus, will be airing the debut of a new boxing series tonight. The first episode will be broadcast live from the former ECW Arena as the series is specifically designed to feature an intimate, gritty view of the sport.

Philly.com featured a look at the debut of the series at this link. The article notes the facility is known for its role in the rise of "extreme wrestling", but did not note it was closing not that this would be the last event held in a venue once named by ESPN2 as the best TV venue for boxing.

This is the final scheduled event under the old management of the former ECW Arena before the building is ripped out and remodeled to accommodate a planned 3,000 seat concert venue.
