STING ON RETIREMENT, MISSING TNA STAR RETURNING TO ACTION THIS WEEKEND, THREE STARS YANKED FROM ROSTER AND MORE

When asked if he would be retiring on Twitter, Sting commented, "Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated." There's always a feeling that his current year will be his last year, but then TNA comes to terms with him again. The recent announcement that the UK tour would feature his last bout in the UK seems to have gotten everyone assuming the end is near.

Ken Anderson, who had been taking some time off for personal issues, will return to action at this weekend's TNA live events in MA. Shannon Moore, who hasn't been seen in several weeks, is also set for the live events on 1/20 in Worcester, MA, 1/21 in Plymouth, MA and 1/22 in Lowell, MA. Scheduled for the shows:

*Jeff Hardy vs. Christopher Daniels
*Rob Van Dam & Mr. Anderson vs. Mexican America
Jesse Sorensen vs. Kid Kash vs. Shannon Moore
ODB & Brooke Tessmacher vs. Rosita & Sarita
TNA TV champ Robbie E vs. Garrett Bischoff
Eric Young vs. Pope D'Angelo Dinero

A correction from earlier in the week. The White Plains event on 1/13 drew in the 700-800 range.

Joe Lebeau sent word that Jesse Neal, Jackie Moore and Toxxin were all removed from the official roster page of the TNA website. Moore's deal expired and was not renewed. Toxxin was dropped when Neal, her fiance, left TNA.

TNA developmental talent Jessie Godderz won the OVW Tag Team Championships with his Tag Team partner Marcus Anthony (as part of The Mascagni Family) on the most recent OVW Television. Godderz is featured in the new issue of Mens Workout magazine.

TNA will be holding an event on March 16th, 2012 at the Civic Center in Pensacola, Florida. Tickets go on sale February 3rd, 2011.
