There are still seats available in all price categories for the WWE Hall of Fame if you want to attend. The pre-sale codes are GOHEAT and WWEHOF.

Zack Ryder was at Lucasfilm in California today working on a project, although we don't have a confirmation as to what. There was talk today he may be off TV a few weeks to sell the Kane chokeslam.

The 1/17 Smackdown taping in Las Vegas at the Thomas & Mack Center is advertising that for the first time ever, the "infamous Roulette Wheel" will featured, so they'll be doing the Raw Roulette gimmick with matches being made "at random" on next week's taping. Locally advertised in the main event is World champion Daniel Bryan vs. Mark Henry vs. Big Show in a steel cage. Thanks to Alex J. for his help.

Comics legend Jim Shooter blogged about his involvement with WWF in the early 1990s when his Valiant Comics licensed WWF for the Battlemania comic (well, more of a magazine) series and the headaches that came with working with the company. He noted that once, they demanded that the Ultimate Warrior's nose look smaller even though Shooter himself had traced an actual WWF photo of Warrior to create the artwork. Upset, he went to WWF HQ to show that it was a direct trace of the Warrior and they demanded he still make changes. He ignored them and ran the cover as it was drawn, later receiving a thank you for the changes that he never made. Shooter also goes into a time he was working for Broadway Video's short-lived Comics division and his attempts to bring a comic book character to life via WWF. He recounts meetings with the McMahons and it's a fascinating look into how much control WWE, even then, tried to maintain over their license. A BIG thanks to Cory Strode, who has an awesome podcast on comics, for sending along these links:
