After watching ROH's Final Battle, I couldn't believe how many spots involved unprotected chair shots and brutally stiff kicks to the head to the point where it was uncomfortable to watch. You would think in 2011, with all the information we have now about concussions and head trauma, spots like these would be a thing of the past. I'm surprised that there hasn't been an uproar like Rob Terry's unprotected chair shot spot from the past. Obviously these moves are banned in WWE, but are they not in ROH? And if not, shouldn't they be to protect the health and future well being of the athletes?

Chairshots to the head really should be banned by everyone.  In my opinion, with what we know about concussions now there is no reason to use them when we know that there is a good chance that they can cause major damage.  As for kicks to the head, they can be worked by talented wrestlers.  Remember, the idea of the business is to make things look real that are actually largely not.  With that said, if a guy is really winding up and kicking someone in the head, they should move over to MMA.

Was the backstage section of the falls count anywhere match with Randy Orton and Wade Barrett pre-taped? It seemed to have a produced feel with the camera angles. It reminded me of the Goldust car chase match with Roddy Piper.

Yes it was.  They didn't want Orton to really be thrown down a flight of stairs. I don't blame them since they were dealing with a guy that had a back injury.

Will the WWE go after the Briscoes I think them two guys can make the tag team division legit.

Them boys is some bad hombres.  I don't see WWE going after them though.  They are not exactly a kid-friendly product, and I mean that in the best possible way.  Those guys are too good at what they do to be homogenized.

I have been anxiously awaiting Paul Heyman's autobiography.... I periodically check for a publishing date on Amazon.com, and this is what it states presently: Publication Date: December 31, 2030. Ummmm.... what's up with that?

All we have heard is that the book has been "pushed back".  That is really far to be pushed back though!  Seriously, if it doesn't get published in the next six months or so it makes me wonder if it ever will.

We all know how physically taxing wrestling is, but in watching Jericho's return the other night - I realized he is one of very few that seems to have escaped (serious) injury. Does anyone else come to mind who also has had the same good fortune?

Ric Flair comes right to mind.  He has had an amazing run given all of the bumps he has taken over the years.
