BROCK LESNAR-WWE UPDATE, AN AWARD FOR CM PUNK, ON DEMAND UPDATE

By Dave Scherer on 2012-01-01 19:06:13
For those who have asked, of course WWE would love to have Brock Lesnar return to the company after he retired from the UFC after losing his fight on Friday.  WWE has tried to bring him back in the past.  Whether he returns or not depends on two things. Those are that, one, he wants to and two, WWE can work out a deal with UFC to get Brock out of his contract.

Gregory Davis reporting. ... In one of the many year end awards that he's going to receive, CM Punk was crowned 2011 Chicago Sports Stud of the Year in the Chicago RedEye newspaper. The Chicago Sports Dud? White Sox Designated Hitter Adam Dunn.

Renn O sent this update. ... I have WWE Classics onDemand, and my cable provider is Cox Communications (I'm in Wichita, Kansas). WWE has footage on it that will not be removed until January 22nd. On top of that, during the last week of December, WWE was activity advertising that in January, the theme of the wrestlers they will be featuring is "Raging Rebels". As of right now, no indication has been given by either WWE or Cox Communications that the WWE Classics onDemand service will be discontinuing in the near future.
