Based on the 12/19/11 Q&A, was the "Miz girl" really a plant?
To the best of my knowledge she was not. I have never heard from anyone in the company that she was.
Love the fact that Daniel Bryan is a champ! Any chance at a Bryan/Punk unification match at WrestleMania?
I always allow for things that are not impossible so I will give it 1% chance of happening. I would be totally shocked, for two reasons. One, I don't see a unification match happening at Mania and two I get a bad feeling Bryan will not have the belt then.
Both CM Punk and Daniel Bryan referred to themselves as "Indy schmucks" after their wins at TLC. Both using such a specific term leads me to believe that they're rubbing their wins in face of someone who, in the past, has called them that. Any idea who that might be or am I reading too much into it?
They are definitely making reference to various people in WWE that referred to them in that manner. Some would definitely tell you it was a veiled shot at Triple H.
I am sick of all the questions of will Cena turn heel and all the answer that WWE won't because he sells merchandise. Well, I'm putting my tail between my legs and am going to ask the same thing. Now that WWE is selling Cena Sucks shirts, NOW can they turn him heel? Merchandise will sell no matter what because now all the kids will buy the Cena Sucks shirts and all the adults will buy the pro Cena shirts. There is no excuse now for them not to turn him because money will still be generated.
You have a tail? Are you in the circus? Well, I don't think it's as easy as that. Kids buy merch of who they like. They don't usually buy it for guys they don't. There is no idea that adults will be pro-Cena if they turn him, especially if he does his hokey schtick as a heel. So, it's still a risk. At this point, WWE realizes he will be getting a lot of boos against The Rock so they are just running with the situation.
Given the pattern shown by the Anoa'i Family from the Wild Samoans, to Yokozuna, Rikishi, Rosey, Umaga, and by extension Peter Maivia, and now the Usos, are members of the Anoa'i Family given a 'free pass' when it comes to looking larger and softer? I know Yokozuna and-at least Rikishi-are both 'attraction' wrestlers, but I've looked at the current list of Anoa'i children and most if not all that I've been able to see at least LOOK softer than other wrestlers. The only other Samoan loosely affiliated (as in, not by blood) to the Anoa'i dynasty that looked cut was the Rock (and even then at the very early parts of his career he had his softer moments). Is this done on purpose, a conscious plan by either the Anoa'i Family and/or the WWE (and other promotions) to retain and insinuate a particular look not just for the Anoa'i's, but for Samoans in general as some sort of 'signature' or 'trademark'? Or is it simply a case of this family just being the way they are?
You would have to ask them that! I sure am not going to do it. To me, it just seems like the family has a certain body type, as families often do. There are some people that no matter how much they train and do enhancers will never have the jacked up, million dollar body. They just don't have the genetics for it. Could they be thinner in some cases, yes. Do they get a pass given those that came before them? Perhaps, to a degree.
