Is WWE going to seriously get behind Daniel Bryan as the World champion?

To be honest, I don't see it.  At first, when he won Money In The Bank, they were completely behind him.  They had him announce he would cash in at WrestleMania.  Then, they largely ignored him and took the briefcase from him at a PPV that they didn't expect much from and put the belt on him during the down time before The Royal Rumble.  That isn't a good sign to me.  If he comes out of The Elimination Chamber PPV with title then I will start to believe.  I just don't see it happening (though I really hope I am wrong here).

Who has the better chance of staying on top in their respective company, Robert Roode or Daniel Bryan?

I think Roode does, for sure for the reason I mentioned above.  With that said, it seems like TNA is committing to him and he is doing a great job in his role.  They would be insane to kill his character at this point.

WWE has been losing viewers from hour one to hour two of Raw every week for a while now.  How can they stop the trend?

I think two things have gotten us to this point.  One is the sameness of the show for the last few years.  The other is that it seems like every time they get fans to bite on something different, and they return to the product, WWE takes it away from them and they leave.  The more that they do that, the more hesitant people are to believe there will be real change to the product.  In my opinion the best thing to do is make changes to make the product more spontaneous, interesting and give it back the "anything can happen" feel it had years ago.  It won't happen quickly so the company will have to stay the course.  Given where they are now, they don't have much to lose by committing to change and giving it time to work.

So WWE wants to have the fans clamor for the WWE Network and start a campaign to get it on the carriers.  My question is how will they do that when the ratings for Raw don't even bring in five million people a week anymore?

Mike Johnson and I had the same debate on Thursday's show and I agree with you.  Their base is not large enough, or probably vocal enough, to make a dent with some carriers.  Just look at the problems that they have had getting that thing carried.  I think if WWE is hoping for the fans to get the network on systems it's a really flawed strategy.

What are you hearing internally from WWE sources about the Network and whether it will succeed?

It depends on who you talk to.  Management has a grand vision for it and, obviously, sees it as being successful.  A number of the worker bees however feel that 4/1 is coming way too quickly and that they are not ready for a quality launch.  We will know who is right soon enough!
