MARK HENRY WAS CLOSE TO RETIRING

In the January edition of WWE Magazine, Mark Henry said he considered retiring from wrestling before his current run at the top of Smackdown started.

The magazine quoted Henry as saying: "Well, I'm older in the business, and my children miss their dad. Not to mention the aches and pains are just making it harder to get through everything. But, right now, I'm feeling fresh and things are going well. I'm going to hang around as long as I can."

Henry is 41 years old and battling injuries right now.
