You recently posted a comment from JR about Andy Leavine in which JR pretty much said he is horrible and is not going to be on TV any time soon. Is anybody surprised? IMO, he was awful on TE. Zero charisma. Zero personality. Horrible and awkward in the ring, etc. Are there any regrets in WWE for not going with Luke Robinson? He seemed like he would have been ready for TV a lot sooner. Yeah, he needed some ring work too, but he was obviously a guy like The Miz -- weak in some areas, but clearly has the potential to be a superstar. Did WWE lose interest in Robinson once his umm... modeling past came to light?

Luke was definitely hurt by his cocky attitude.  There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance and WWE is a place where you need to know what that is.  Andy was the safer pick and got "hot" at the right time but honestly I don't think Luke would be on the main roster right now either.  I think the guy that had the best chance to be a star was Jeremiah because he was so different.

I’ve seen a lot on WWE as a product is losing ratings.  There is something they could do about this.  Keep the World Titles off Orton & Cena, make the IC Title mean something again.

They have been doing that with Orton, which is good.  They need to do it with Cena too.  Those guys are already established.  They need to establish new guys at the top and they won't ever do that with the established guys in that spot.  With that said, as long as they have the WWE and World Title, I just don't see the IC belt mattering that much.  At this point, the IC and US Titles kind of work against the guys holding them.  Instead of meaning they are the next champion, it usually means they aren't in the same class as the champ.

Does Jeff Jarrett have any genuine authority in TNA these days or is he just employed as a wrestler?

He has an ownership stake and management responsibilities.

What are the chances of Big Van Vader making the Hall in the next few years?

I think they are good.  He certainly deserves it.  He was one of the greatest big men wrestlers of all time.

I was watching some old Wrestlemania matches riding out Irene when this recurring thought came to me once again...aren't matches now too reliant on finishing maneuvers? It seems in matches today every pinning attempt is pointless unless it follows a finisher, and the only real false finishes happen when one wrestler is no-selling another's finisher. Would you agree that this overall attitude that a match can't end except with a finisher (or two, or three) actually cheapens the maneuvers? And wouldn't it add a little excitement to the matches if a finish occasionally came out of nowhere? Otherwise save your energy and don't bother to lay on top of the guy until you've whacked him with your finisher three times.

You make an excellent point.  I agree with you.
