TESTING A CENA TURN, THE BEST PLACE FOR DANIEL BRYAN IN 2012, WHAT A WWE DEVELOPMENTAL DEAL REALLY MEANS AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2011-12-09 09:48:00
Here's a thought: WWE turns John Cena heel then waits to see how much it truly affects merchandise/ticket sales. If it does barely a ripple keep it going. If it causes a tidal wave of loss turn him back to Captain America immediately. What do you think?

Terrible idea. Look at Steve Austin's turn in 2001. Once you turn someone, trying to turn them back immediately only numbs the audience. Again, awful idea.

Since signing/resigning with WWE how do you feel WWE has treated Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan)? I think he is an incredible talent which has yet to be fully realized if it weren't for WWE pulling the strings. He'd be better off with TNA than WWE in 2012. What do you think?

I think that there isn't a place in the world where he would make more money. Let's face it - he's one of the best workers of the current era and I think that over time, he'll rise to the top. It took CM Punk five years plus within WWE to get to where he is. Over time, Danielson will get there.

I read where former Lingerie Football League star/player Danielle Moinet was signed by WWE and was subsequently sent to working development. What exactly does that entail? What are WWE's plans for her?

It means she was signed and sent to Tampa to learn to train and wrestle and develop herself as a performer. There is no set plan for her yet and no guarantee she will make it to the main roster. A developmental deal is basically the company saying that they see something in you that they believe they could make money with, so they are paying you to train and improve and show them that they are right. It's minor league baseball.

What's the latest on SHIMMER star Serena Deeb? I read where she was currently recovering from a concussion. How is she doing? All the best to her. Godspeed.

I haven't heard anything new on the concussion front but she did recently write a blog where she announced she was a year sober, which was one of the issues that led to her untimely WWE departure. Hopefully, she will continue to do well and be healthy.

I read where TNA Knockout Jackie's (Jacqueline's) contract was expected to run out. I personally think it would be a great mistake not to try and resign her. A woman with her experience and talent. Not only that but is still very capable of giving a very solid and professional effort each and every time in the ring. A consummate pro. Opinion?

I am 10000% in agreement with you. I always thought Moore was a hell of a tough lady and could probably kick the hell out of most of the men in the business. I'm a big fan of her.
