CHRIS HERO'S WWE DEAL, THE FUTURE OF WWE'S VOD CHANNEL, WHEN COLE WILL STOP THE HEEL PERSONA

By Mike Johnson on 2011-12-08 09:49:14
After their individual WWE tryout sessions has any of the following female talent been and/or appears highly likely to be signed to a development deal? Alpha Female? Rachelle St. Clair? Erin Angel? Carly Thornton?

I haven't heard of any being signed by WWE yet.

Seeing how all the other female participants from the first season of World of Hurt have been signed to development deals I am wondering if the WWE has any interest in wanting to provide KC Spinelli with at the very least a tryout session, and does KC Spinelli have any interest in wanting to receive a tryout session and possibly even a development deal?

I am sure Spinelli would want both a tryout and a deal. I have not heard of WWE attempting to bring Spinelli in yet.

OK, why the hell isn't Chris Hero in WWE developmental already?

That seems to be the million dollar question. I haven't heard anything definitive, but know that the company wanted to sign him and he was going through the physical screening. So, either they found something they want to take their time double checking to make sure he's physically fit or they stalled in negotiations. No one in WWE has told me that Hero's deal was pulled and he hasn't gone back to work for ROH or NOAH, so I still say it's just a matter of time. He's too damn good not to be there.

Will WWE drop 24/7 when they launch their Network?

Nothing has been said officially about this, but my gut feeling is that the 24/7 programming would be folded into the Network, since that is a much larger moneymaker for the company than Video on Demand ever could be.

I know you have adressed this issue a thousand times before but I just can't get threw my head why this idiot Michael Cole is even on TV in the capacity he is. To deal with his voice every monday night on raw is one thing but to deal with him on Smackdown too is just freaking insanity. Fas Vince just really gone that insane that he thinks its something that will draw numbers by having a commentator take over the show every night with his idiotic rants bashing JR time and time again and just saying things that tempt everyone to turn the TV off. It just kills me because I have been watching wrestling since as long as I can remember and to see whats happening is just sad. What has to happen for any of this to change?

What has to happen is for Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn to tire of Cole in that role. I don't see it happening anytime soon.
