Going through some recent (text) Q&As, and WHAT is UP with the recent spate of people trying to defend Chris Benoit? Do these people not realize that they're trying to make excuses for a man who, for all that he may have been the greatest in-ring performer of the last twenty years, committed one of the most heinous of all crimes by murdering his wife and child? No amount of concussion damage can justify *that*, I'm sorry. I can understand being frustrated by WWE's decision to pretend the guy never existed, but I don't blame WWE one single bit for burying him either. Chris Benoit, whatever else he may or may not have been in his life, was a child killer at the end of it, and that trumps EVERYTHING else. Why do so many people STILL seem to think otherwise, at least when the child killer in question happened to be a good pro wrestler? Priorities, people, priorities!

I don't need to ask your questions since they were rhetorical.  All I can say is this, well said.

Do you think ROH has done the right thing in making the Final Battle buildup a long one? They pretty much abandoned any mention of Glory by Honor X on their TV show. How many buys do you think it'll get in relation to their last two iPPVs? (It will get one from me!)

I am a big fan of long builds because they tell the fans that "it matters".  I do agree that Glory Of Honor, which is really important to ROH, should have been pushed hard too.  It's a major show for them.  Mike Johnson was there and said it was a really good show.  Given the push for Final Battle, I would think (and hope) that it will handily beat those last two shows.

At the WWE House Show in Frankfurt they played Red Red Wine by UB40 as the entrance theme of Yoshi Tatsu. Do you know why?

Sounds like a rib to me.  That stuff happens on the road all the time.

After reading that Matt Hardy V 1.0 has become Scott Hall V 2.0 and is back in jail, I wanted to ask for your opinion on WWE’s policy of suspending wrestlers for violating their wellness policy. Often (not always) after the wrestler is suspended, I see how they go to their facebook or twitter page and make themselves out to be victims, try to justify their actions, and fail to take responsibility. So instead of having the wrestlers sit at their computer at home for 30 days and instead of having their STAR anti-bully campaign, I say have an anti-drug campaign. Every wrestler that gets suspended, have them speak to older kids (the same people who make these wrestlers very wealthy) about the dangers of using drugs, present themselves as drug users who have had professional setbacks due to their drug use, etc. What are your thoughts? Do you think that is a better deterrent and do you HONESTLY think WWE would ever do such a thing?

I like the idea and think it is a good one.  I don't think it's a better deterrent because people will do what they want to do, but I like it.  I think it could have a positive effect on the people that get spoken to.  Good idea!

I've read on your site several times that one of the main reasons Drew McIntyre isn't being pushed any more is likely due to an incident at last year's Summerslam. What exactly was the incident?

In a nutshell, he and his then wife WWE Diva Tiffany got into a domestic issue the week of SummerSlam 2010 in Los Angeles that led to her be arrested.  Given it was one of WWE's biggest shows of the year, it was a serious black eye on both.  At least he still has a job.
