HOW TO MAKE ALL FANS BOO JOHN CENA, WHAT IF WWE LOST THEIR THREE TOP STARS, HEYMAN'S BOOK, BREAKING INTO THE BIZ AND MORE

By Dave Scherer on 2011-11-28 09:52:00
Is Paul Heyman's book still scheduled to be published, or was it cancelled? Sidenote: Amazon lists the hardcover publishing date as December 31, 2030, which I thought was hilarious.

It has been pushed back a few times.  The latest word is that it will be out next year.  Time will tell.

Hypothetical question. "Knock on wood," A month before mania Cena, Orton, and HHH go out for dinner. They ride together. Half way there boom car wreck, (Again knock on some wood) they find out will be out of action for six months. Who headlines mania?

A car wreck?  Wow, that is warped.  I think at this point WWE would go with a Smackdown main event of Mark Henry vs. Sheamus.  Raw is a little trickier because you need someone for The Rock.  Me, I would put The Miz (over Alberto Del Rio) in the spot and have CM Punk defend The WWE Title against Chris Jericho.  Plus, if he is healthy you also have Undertaker so WWE would be OK for that show.  Hell, maybe not having those guys to rely on would actually force WWE to focus on making new stars.

I read the Q & A's everyday as it's my favorite part of your site. Other then Lance Storm's and good Old J.R's are they any other wrestlers and or sites you recommend that routinely update their questions and answers?

They are the only two that I know of that do them.

One of my dreams since I was a little Hulkamaniac/little Stinger was to be a pro wrestler. Unfortunately, my body didn't quite cooperate (I'm about 5'7" and less than athletic). However, I was given the gift of writing. How does one break into the business as a member of creative staff or as an announcer?

That all depends on where you want to go.  If your goal is to end up in WWE, you probably would want to go to Hollywood and write on non-wrestling projects.  That tends to be what they are looking for.  An announcer?  Good luck on that as they are really picky.  If you just want to be in the business, see about finding a local promotion and offer to help them.  That is the best advice I can give you.

When Cena eventually does turn heal...what happens if the people who used to boo him now cheer him and the people who used to cheer him now boo him? It sounds as if the guy is in a no win situation and his crowd reaction will sound the same.

Well you know that the kiddies will boo him for sure.  The question is what will the older fans that currently hate him do.  If you put him in with Rock, they will still boo him.  And really, if they want to have the fans that hate him now continue to do so, they could just have him do his basic move set.  That should do the job.
