What happened to Drew McIntyre's push? He has not been seen much, except on Superstars, since the incident with his wife Tiffany. Is he going to be pushed again as the chosen one?

Yep, the incident with Tiffany at last year's SummerSlam has put the brakes on the push he was getting.  To be fair, it's not like WWE hasn't done the same thing to a lot of other talents.  The start and stop push is a recent Vince McMahon booking staple, unfortunately.  Will he ever get the big push again, I would say it's 50/50 at best.

Since they already had a confrontation on Raw and now that he is retired, how about Shaq vs Big Show at WrestleMania?

I got this question on the mailbag too.  I could definitely see Shaq being part of Mania I just don't know if he would want to wrestle.  I could see him wanting to do it I guess, he has always loved the business.  If he did, I would expect it to be a lot more show business than epic bout.  I would also be really curious to see how much he would be willing to sell for Show.

Here is a question on the losing streaks that many superstars find themselves in as contracts near their end. It seems odd to me that one can almost tell when their contract is up by having them lose match after match. Most recently it is John Morrison, but I also remember Sheamus in the last year or so go on a losing streak as his contract neared expiry. Does not the losing streak tend to devalue the superstar in the eyes of the fan?

It does for sure and obviously that is WWE's plan when they do it.  Now, if a guy ends up leaving, fine.  But if he stays, as was the case with Sheamus, then they have to work really hard to build him back up again.  It definitely can blow up in their face.

On a related question, while retirement matches are good ways to have a wrestler leave from a storyline perspective (HBK vs Flair, Undertaker vs HBK), why is it that when a worker on their way out of the company (and in good terms) almost always have to lose their last match? I liked how Trish Stratus was able to end her last match with her winning. It doesn’t have to be for the title, but it would be nice to see more of the fan favs go out with a winning celebration than a “I just lost, but thanks for the memories” exit.

I don't have a problem with that.  After all, the guy IS leaving and the guy he is wrestling is not.  I don't have a problem with a guy getting a win over someone who is older and retiring.

The lights. The music. The fake black hair. The stupidity of it all. C'Mon now! How much longer do you think they will carry on with this foolishness? Or where they are going with it?

I loved this question because it was so dopey.  The only thing I can GUESS you are referring to is Kevin Nash and if that is the case, they will be carrying on with it a lot longer.  He isn't leaving any time soon.  Where are they going?  To the top of the card with him playing The Game.
