This year, we've seen two lengthy lockouts involving professional sports leagues (The NBA and NFL). In the NBA's case, it just seems like they're a bunch of babies, who have EVERYTHING given to them and are now not willing to make concessions to help the league deal with the declining economy. Their contracts are fully guaranteed. Their travel is paid for. Their lodging is paid for. Have you guys heard from any pro wrestlers regarding their thoughts on the lockouts, specifically the NBA lockout? Are they as sick as most fans are with the fact that NBA players have everything handed to them, yet are still find reasons to be complain? Especially since wrestlers do not have a union and have to pay for everything I mentioned above with their own money?

Mike Eps and I will talk about this on tomorrow's mailbag and we agree with you. Yes, I have talked to a few people in the business and they agree with us as well (of course that doesn't mean they all do). I get that the situation with the players isn't perfect and that the owners have been their own worst enemies where contracts are concerned but at the end of the day the game is in trouble and concessions have to be made. Even if they don't want to, the owners seem committed to not having a season this year. It's hard to beat someone that is willing to take that stance.

Alex Riley. What the heck happened there?

Alex Riley hurt his hip a few weeks back and returned to action on the European tour. Other than that, I can't tell you. He was getting a nice push and then they just abandoned it. It's not the first time that happened and it probably won't be the last. Unfortunately.

Like that old song "Where have all the flowers gone", I wonder where have all the wrestlers gone. There seems to be a preponderance of flashes, that come on for a while and then poof…they're gone! Alex Riley, Ezekiel Jackson come to mind. Is this just creative laziness, bad booking, or did we see the best of them and then no more was left? What do you think?

In some cases, hell most cases, WWE loses interest and/or confidence in the workers in question and they seemingly give up on them. Then, they wonder why the guys didn't get over, sometimes even blaming the talent even though no one gets over if they aren't given the chance. In some cases, guys get hurt but even then WWE could do a much better job of keeping them in the mind of the audience but they don't. They do an initial big hype and give up on guys, ensuring that they will probably never get over. It's crazy to me.

After reading some updates on major stars, I got to thinking: how would Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho sound for a future Wrestlemania? I don't think a match like that has been done for quite some time. It would be a "special attraction" match, since neither man has been frequently seen for a while. I know Rock vs. Cena is the big attraction for WM28, but Taker vs. Jericho could be a big draw as well. If not that, how about WM29?

Honestly, I don't like it. There is too much of a size discrepancy for one thing. We have no idea what kind of shape Taker is in for another. Plus, I think there is a much better way to use Jericho at Mania. Check out the next question.

Could you see a scenario of Chris Jericho returning it, winning it and taking on CM Punk at WrestleMania?

Oh yeah, I could. If they decided to do that in my opinion Jericho would need to into the match by number five or six and put in a long, heroic performance. Then, if he won he would be in line for the title shot. I think the match would be awesome. I hope it happens.
