With the exception of Sting, I am of the opinion that one the greatest North American stars from the past 30 years to have never wrestled for the WWE has got to be Jimmy Garvin. I always wondered why Jimmy didn't join them around 1988, as there was a natural money making feud with Randy Savage waiting to happen. I do remember Jimmy stating once he was offered a try-out back in the mid-90's (which he found insulting considering his track record). However are you aware of any talks during his peak years of 1982-89 where he could have joined the WWE?

Jimmy Garvin was one of my favorites back in the day.  I also respect that he came out of the business very well and ended up having a good career as a pilot after leaving the business.  I don't recall there ever being serious interest in him in WWF.  His size wasn't what the company was all about back then.  I think he knew that he knew he wouldn't get the same push in the WWF that he got elsewhere. He made the right call.

The Bio Channel recently aired a two hour program called When Pop Culture Saved America regarding the 9/11 attacks. It did seem a bit exploitative, but the WWE was totally ignored as to Smackdown being the first major live event to be held after the attacks. The program seemed to think that Miss America was the first major event to be held after the attacks. How do you guys feel about that omission and how do you think Vince McMahon feels about the omission?

I think it's ridiculous to omit WWE running Smackdown as the first event because it was the truth.  I think if Vince McMahon is aware of the snub he was probably pretty ticked off by it.

It seems like the good stuff happens after RAW and SmackDown go off the air. Why is that? As far as the Edge stuff goes, I do understand them including it on a DVD in the future, but why not air it on TV as well? I would have loved to have been there to see it live, but obviously we all can't go to every show, and it seems like the stuff they air is often filler, yet they have this good stuff after the shows go off the air. Sorry to go on and on, but it really drives me nuts, especially when it concerns Bret Hart since he is my all time favorite.

There are a few reasons.  One is that they want to give the fans who attend live something extra.  As you mentioned, they like to have extra footage to put on DVDs and on the web.  Plus, sometimes, as with Edge, they just don't want to dedicate to things like that because they feel they need to use time to advance storylines and get people to want to tune in next week.

With The Rock heading this year Hall of Fame who do you think WWE will have head line the next five Hall of Fames. My picks in no order:  Macho Man, HHH, Undertaker, Edge Brock Lensar or JBL, plus maybe Mick Foley or Kurt Angle.

First off, Rock has not been announced as being in the Hall yet.  So, we will have to wait and see what happens.  Of the names you mentioned, some are still active and as long as they are they won't be inducted.  Kurt Angle works for the competition so that knocks him out for now.  Edge is the most obvious candidate since he has retired and could be inducted as soon as 2012. I certainly see Randy Savage getting in.  I could see The Ultimate Warrior getting in as well since they almost came to terms on it previously.  JBL I could see as well.  It is way too soon for Lesnar, if he even deserves it, and I could see him returning to wrestling at some point.  The rest of the names on your list are all deserving and will get in at some point.

Have you heard anything new on Droz? Is he still in a wheelchair?

Last I heard he was living in his home state of New Jersey and his condition is largely the same as what it was. It appears he will spend the rest of his life in the wheelchair.  What he went through is one of the true tragedies of the business.
