MIZ OUT OF THE MAIN EVENT PICTURE, THE PERFECT REASON MCGUILLICUTY ISN'T A HENNIG AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2011-09-29 10:00:00
What happen to the Miz ? I thought he was really good in the heavyweight division. I guess they are building the tag team and probably needed him there. Do you think he might get the chance again for the WWE title ? Thanks again.

WWE creative moved him into the duo with Truth, but I sincerely believe we'll see him back in the top of the mix down the line. I don't see how he wins the main event of Wrestlemania and then is moved down the card, but WWE does lots of strange things these days.

If they keep acknowledging he's a third generation superstar and who he's related to, why the hell do we have to call him Michael McGillicutty?

So WWE can own the rights to the name.

Now that The Miz has been "fired" by Triple H will "commentator" Michael Cole resign in protest? Wouldn't that be nice?

That would actually make sense given the way Cole's character has been developed, especially if he was moved into an advisor's role for them, but I don't see it.

On a recent TNA Impact Wrestling the match between TNA World Champion Kurt Angle and one half of Beer Money James Storm ended in a very unique way. No winner. No loser. If left me feeling empty. What is your opinion on what happened? By the way. You can clearly the setup for the kick that KO'd the referee. The referee stood behind Angle's back with Storm in from of Kurt. Each man lined up like ducks all in a row. Why was the referee behind Kurt Angle? Calling Sherlock Holmes!

This is what I wrote in my Impact thoughts: "James Storm vs. Kurt Angle was another solid match to close out the show. I'd be really surprised if we didn't see Storm remain in the top mix of the company in the months to come as there's really something to him and you can see him connected with the crowd in a way that most other guys haven't or don't remain connected. Roode hitting the ring at the end and his staredown with Angle was an effective ending, but TNA took some of the bloom off the rose with the referee bump and Gunner getting involved. Sometimes, less is more, although I don't blame them with going with the no contest here as the entire point was to build the Angle-Roode rivalry, not to put Angle or Storm in a position where they lose when they are important to storylines in the upcoming weeks. So, I understand why they booked things that way, but it would be far more effective if we didn't see so many run-ins and ref bumps all the time. At least no one was blinded! Still, I liked the main and it was fun to watch Storm at this level. "

Will there be any repercussions over the incident between Wolverine star Hugh Jackman and WWE star Dolph Ziggler where Jackman punched Ziggler on Raw resulting in his jaw being broken? Was Ziggler's jaw actually broken? Could Ziggler sue Jackman over what happened?

No, apparently not and No.
