I know I've said this before, but you guys are awesome and I visit your site daily and I listen you all of your audio, keep up the awesome work. My question is about the Match between Sid & Scott Steiner in WCW when Sid broke his ankle, a lot of wrestling pundits say that he didn't really break it. Did he really or was it a work?

Oh, he broke it all right.  You can watch the video below.  It was sickening actually, one of the ugliest injuries that I ever saw.  I doubt that even Criss Angel couldn't work an illusion like that.  Thanks for the kind words and support of the site.  You made my day!

What is the craziest thing anyone has said to you since you have been involved in the wrestling business?

Well, I have always expected to hear crazy things from wrestlers so that really doesn't count.  So, with that said I will go with this one.  One Thursday I called Buck Woodward so we could record The No Name Show.  When he answered I said hi and asked him what he was up to.  He said, "Not much, just playing my guitar and watching a concert on VH1."  I always knew I was a good guy to work for but I didn't know I was that good!  That had to be the craziest thing anyone ever said to me and it still blows my mind to this day!

With the hiring of Kevin Eck and the current creative liberty with Punk, do you think we're going to see "creative" loosening the chains on what wrestlers can do to project their own image and voice? Do you think they'll have more wrestling-minded personalities from those like Eck to former wrestlers (like some of the current WWE agents) brought into the process to help groom the talent? You think we'll ever see another day where scripted promos are the exception rather than the rule? Or is that just a pipe dream from the Attitude Era and days past?

I see it as a pipe dream right now, though I wish I didn't.  In the past few weeks, we have seen Vince McMahon go nuts after Alberto Del Rio mentioned his name in a promo (which some say Vince himself approved).  We have seen John Cena revert to the over-worded, unrealistic stuff that he did before the Punk angle started in the summer.  And everyone else has been pretty generic, even Punk.  So, I see it as another example of Vince McMahon going back to what he wants to do not matter what.  It's a shame too because like you, I would love to see some spontaneous, realistic, interesting promos make their return.  I also don't see what Kevin Eck's hiring has to do with the direction of the company.  He did shoot stuff for The Baltimore Sun, but he also was the editor of WCW at the end of that company so he knows how to do the worked stuff too.  He has said it was a lifelong dream to work for WWE so I think he realizes he will adapt to them, not vice versa.

With Kim and Melina gone and the lack of any sort of serious direction anytime soon with the Divas, you think Kharma, when she wraps up with her maternity leave, will fall into the Chyna role where she openly competes with men?

It wouldn't shock me.  She certainly would be believable.  Given that we never really got to see what they had planned for her before she announced her pregnancy it's hard to say what they will do with her.  I hope they use her properly when she returns but I can't say I am sure that they will.

I'm assuming that Owen Hart will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame eventually; considering how close Jeff Jarrett was with Owen, do you think he would attend or speak at the ceremony despite his involvement in TNA? Would Vince allow it?

That is quite an assumption you are making.  Owen's widow Martha has made it very clear that she doesn't want anything to do with WWE and WWE has respected her feelings.  So, unless she does a 180 I don't see him being inducted.  If it does happen, I could see Jarrett attending (like Ric Flair did for Shawn Michaels).  I think Vince would allow it given the circumstances.
