So, Ring of Honor had their TV debut on Saturday.  Did you get to see it?  If so, what did you think?

I did get to see it and I thought it was a good first episode.  They realize that not everyone who sees the show will know all of the players so they are introducing the audience to them.  Obviously, the company's strength is in its work and they gave viewers a nice dose of that.  I had some people email me and say that the production wasn't WWE-like, but I don't expect it to be.  If I am producing the show, those are upgrades that I worry about later.  I spend my time now getting over the wrestlers and showing how good the work in the ring is and they did that in week one.

Many years ago there was a battle between the "Nature Boys" Ric Flair and Buddy Rogers to determine who was the real Nature Boy. Quite a few years after that there was a small feud between Flair and Nature Boy Buddy Landel which Flair (of course) won. After all this time...do you think the time is right for another Nature Boy to come along and challenge Flair for the name? If so...who?

Honestly, no I don't want to see it because it will mean that Ric Flair would have to keep wrestling.  The beating he took in his match with Sting should tell anyone with eyes that Flair should not be taking bumps any more at his age.  Plus, the Nature Boy gimmick had run its course in my opinion.

WWE could have had programs set up with CM Punk as a headliner from July through WrestleMania against Cena, Del Rio, Nash, HHH, and even Vince McMahon. Did they rush through his programs because they don't see him as a top guy and only wanted to use him as a catalyst for the HHH/Vince program?

WWE would counter that they are putting him in a top program and putting him over.  It is all a matter of how you look at it.  I tend to see it more the way that you do, but they are the ones that decide who gets pushed and what being in top programs are, not us.

Now that Ring of Honor is on broadcast television does that make them a wait ninety days before competing in company as far as former WWE and TNA wrestlers are concerned instead of a standard independent wrestling promotion without TV?

They already do! Once ROH debuted on HDNet, released talents were told they specifically could not work for ROH during the 90 day period. While ROH doesn't have national TV (yet) they do have nice market penetration across the country, so I would expect that to continue.

What's with Wade Barrett and his new "Chris Masters" entrance? lol (I would think there would be better ones to copy.)

I would think so too but hey Creative doesn't clear that stuff with me!
