LATEST NAMES FOR WRESTLING REVOLUTION, HOW YOU CAN ATTEND, FUNK VS. DREAMER ON AWE PPV?, PIPER FILM AND MORE

The latest names confirmed for Jeff Katz's Wrestling Revolution filming next month in Los Angeles are former WWE developmental talent Kevin Matthews, NWA Hollywood regular Shaun Ricker and Timothy Thatcher, a West Coast talent that has done a number of international tours. I am really loving the pedigree of the roster. It's a great mix of veterans and really well rounded names that haven't been given a true chance to shine yet. The 10/15 AWE PPV in Virginia is teasing Terry Funk vs. Tommy Dreamer for that event. Believe it or not, that match has never happened, although ECW was building to it in 1998 before a bout of hepatitis knocked Funk out of action. Still no official word from InDemand on the PPV actually being carried.

The independent film "Fancy Pants", which features Roddy Piper in the cast, has sold out its premiere screening in Chicago. There are still three more showings on 9/29 and 9/30.
