WHY RAW AND SMACKDOWN DON'T TAPE IN THE SAME CITIES, SPICING UP THE DIVAS, PRAISING VINCE MCMAHON, SICK WRESTLERS AND MORE

This is in response to a question asked why Smackdown doesn't go live instead of taped. Working in the production field myself for the past 15 years, we hate to have to tear down a set, only to drive and re-set the same exact thing in another city. Why doesn't the WWE take advantage of the fact that they now use the same set for both RAW and Smackdown? Why doesn't the WWE book arenas two nights in a row (when possible)? That way, once RAW is over - they can just keep their set up for the following night. It would save man hours, union fees, wear and tear on their vehicles, wear and tear of the crew, wear and tear of the talent, and most of all - money! Why haven't they ever explored that? It makes no sense to me.

The main reason is that it's hard to draw big crowds in most cities two nights in a row, especially in this economy.

Any ideas on how WWE can in some sort, ''spice up'' their divas division? With the recent turns of Natayla and Beth, do you think WWE can make something of this until Kharma gets back?

The best idea I can come up with is to push it and actually make it important again.  They could also tell their divas to focus on improving as wrestlers and then have them actually work good matches instead of just going out there and being hot.  I look at the quick improvement of Miss Tessmacher in TNA as an example.  She went from just being a hot woman to a hot woman that improves every time out.  Those little things would be a great place to start.

What happens if a wrestler shows up to the arena with the flu? Would they have that wrestler not wrestle until they're better or let them wrestle and hope they're opponent doesn't catch it?

If a guy has the flu and he is obviously contagious, WWE would tell him to go back to the hotel or home in most circumstances, such as house shows.  They don't want the locker room to come down with a bout of the flu.  Some circumstances, such as a top PPV match, they would have the talent go if he/she could, especially if they were in a top match.  It all depends on what the situation is.

I saw a picture in my local paper of a 9 year old Japanese girl in a wrestling match against Kenny Omega.  I watched the YouTube videos and the crowd seems to be into it but man could you imagine the criticism the WWE would get if they did this.  Is this just a joke or is the Japanese wrestling company which I think is called 666 actually trying to make this girl a star and a part of their roster?

I saw the clip too and while it was entertaining, it was also kind of bizarre.  If WWE did it, I agree that the media would rip them.  Things are different in Japan though.  They tend to look at things like that differently than we do in the US.  There have been a lot of comedy characters over there that wouldn't get over here.  As for what they are trying to do with her, my guess is that it was just a way to get some publicity.

I would like to have your opinion on the following.  For all the flak that Vince McMahon gets as the de facto head of creative (and often rightfully so), shouldn't he also get some praise for the good things of the recent past ?  The Punk-storyline might be the past example. I mean, isn't it kind hypocritical by some people to blame him for anything bad but not even acknowledge his participation in the good stuff ?

First off, almost all of the credit and blame for what creative does belongs to Vince McMahon.  He sets the course for the company and is the one who decides the direction.  So yes, when things are good fair sites, like this one, give him the credit that he is due.  If other sites don't do that, you probably are wasting your time going to them.
