I have been watching some promos for a group called Awesome Wrestling Entertainment. Recently, Ricky Morton of the Rock and Roll Express has really shown some heat for Kevin Nash. Supposedly, this has been going on for 10 years. I have never heard of this before. Is there really a problem with Morton and Nash? Also, How can Nash wrestle Morton if he is under a WWF/E Legends contract? Wouldn't Vince step in and prevent Nash from wrestling in AWE?

First off, Nash is on a WWE Legends deal so he can work indies with no problem.  As for the promos they are playing off of comments that Morton has made for years about Nash.  Nash has addressed them occasionally but in this case it was Morton shooting on Nash and Nash not really caring because he was making tons of cash.  Now, it's an angle.  It should be interesting when it happens.  You can get more information on their 10/15 match by clicking here.

Couldn't this new Punk angle be a way for the WWE to get rid of one of it's titles? I doubt they would want to, but you never know.

I don't see any way that it is.  And if they were going to get rid of a belt, it sure as hell wouldn't be the WWE Title!  I see no chance of that being possible.

What are the chances of this happening? CM Punk wins the WWE Championship at Money In The Bank with help from Vince McMahon. Cena is then fired (given time of to heal injuries/prepare of his match the rock/shoot a movie). Punk stays with the company and forms and alliance with McMahon (like when Austin did). Cena eventually returns and wins at the Royal Rumble setting up a triple treat match between The Rock, Cena and Punk, putting all the heat on Punk and making The Rock and John Cena look like some sort of wrestling gods and saviors of WWE

If they could get him to stay, that would be great.  He would have to do a 180 from where he is right now however as he is planning to leave next weekend at this time.

In regards to the CM Punk promo from RAW, has there been any backlash from those he ripped on? Primarily: Triple H, Stephanie, Vince, and John Laurinaitis? With all the "leaks" about how those with seniority or power in the company get away with treating lesser stars (hazing, bullying, etc), I can't imagine these 4 people letting CM Punk rip into them live on-air without some sort of retaliation.

None that I have heard of.  It was business.  They knew "shooting" was coming.

Great site – I just renewed my subscription. How is it the fault of the wrestler when “Creative” has nothing for them and, therefore, they are released? Maybe I’m nuts but are the writers paid to be “creative”? If anything, they should lose their job because they aren’t delivering what they are paid for!

That is a great question.  Now in fairness, some guys just don't have "it" but given the way that creative has booked guys, especially the ones that they yo-yo'd, they have to take some of the blame in at least some of the talents that have failed.  Will they?  I doubt it, but they should since it's their job to get talent over.  Thanks for the Elite support, we appreciate it!
