Which part of CM Punk's promo do you think made Vince cringe the most? I would bet Punk saying Vince isn't really a billionaire was first followed by him stating that USA TV shows suck was second. Thoughts?
I would think that being reminded of the lost cash would hurt a little more. I know it would for me! Vince was a billionaire on paper before his stock took a tumble. That had to hurt to be reminded of.
Hey guys, love the site, Just wondering with the CM Punk Promo on Raw and the way that everything has been booked lately, do you think the WWE may be trying to replicate the "Summer of Punk" angle ROH had before he left for the WWE? Kind of seems the way they could be going with him announcing hes leaving etc.
Only if Punk does a 180 and agrees to stay on. I would love it if he did but I am not holding out much hope that he will at this time.
Why not go all the way and "let C.M. Punk leave WWE with the WWE Championship"? Is it impossible to create a storyline with a "gone title"?
It is not impossible but for it to work effectively it would require that Punk sign a new deal with the company. If they let him take the title when he leaves and then just reinstate it in some way without his involvement it would come across very poorly.
I think WWE spoiled the whole Punk deal when Vince McMahon announced that Cena would be fired if Punk leaves with the belt. Isn't this something that ruined the whole suspense?
Yeah, I think it's pretty dopey too. One, we know Vince would never do it. Two, if you are WWE and you just lost one top guy there is no way you would get rid of another. I definitely think it was totally unrealistic.
Do you think Matt Hardy has any idea that he's coming across as a real douchebag on twitter and YouTube? And the internet crowd that supported him 7 years ago during the Edge-Lita thing are totally turned off by his stupid antics now?
It's one of two things. Either he realizes how badly he has portrayed himself online and just doesn't care or he is clueless and has no idea. I don't think either is an enviable position.
