I can't wait for the Stan Hansen book.  Although, I read a rare interview he did with a newspaper in Canada a few months ago and he came off like his character on TV and gave short answers.  That has me a little worried about the book because he truly has had a fascinating career. Your thoughts?

I would think that Hansen realizes that if he wants to sell the book he has to give people a reason to buy it.  I expect it to be very interesting and am looking forward to it as he has worked a lot of places and seen many things over his great career.

In a recent question you commented on the fact that The Miz isn't booked as a strong heel, or a heel that is equal to the top faces. Not to long ago I remember Triple H, Undertaker (when he was heel, during his BadAss years) even Batista last year didn't ways have to cheat to win, or even go back to the heels in the late 80s early 90s, some of the guys were flat out that good. Was this a simple situation where they had pull with creative (Triple H), had the years and respect (Undertaker) or just had the size to back it up (Batista)?

I think that in most cases it had more to do with the direction that the company was going in then.  The Attitude Era was geared more to adults while today's product is targeted to kids.  The fact that many of the heels are smaller now also affects Vince McMahon's philosophy on booking them as well.  With that said, I think it would be more interesting if they had their heels appear equal to the guys they are wrestling and have them not constantly need to cheat to get a win.

This may be a odd question but why don't the Champions wear their belts to the ring anymore? They always carry them over their shoulder or just in their hand. I know this is sports entertainment and not Boxing or MMA, but it would just make the title seem more important, and it would make the wrestler look proud to be champ, if they wore the belt around their waist? I grew up watching Bret Hart always kiss the belt before he gave it to the ref and when Shawn Michaels won the belt at WM 12 and he saluted the belt for almost 10 mins. I just think if ur the World Champ you should at least give the fans the impression the title means something?

I totally agree with you on this.  The title belts should matter and be important.  They should be something that a guy wants and cherishes, not something that they treat as an accessory.

With all the conspiracy theory going on, do you think the WWE should bring back the NOD (Nation of Domination) with R-Truth, Mark Henry, Big Zeke or a new Doom (with Henry and Big Zeke)?

Uh no.  Seriously, I am not a big fan of regurgitating old storylines and characters.  They never work.

So I can only assume you guys are absolutely swamped with questions like these after last night (6/27), but was CM Punk's last-minute rant a work? Given that he's still got his title match..however, with all the things he said and all the names he mentioned, could it have been a work? If it was, can we finally all agree that he is indeed the best on the mic today, not to mention the most convincing actor? If it was a shoot then did Punk just commit career suicide by taking a dump on not just WWE, but directly on the most powerful man in sports entertainment ever *IN PUBLIC*, and with a *LIVE MIC*? If it was indeed a shoot, man, talk about burning bridges!

Of course, it was a work.  But, it did get a lot of people wondering and that is a good thing.  I hope WWE realized the buzz that it got and adds more interesting things like it into their product.  I firmly believe it would help in both the ratings and in drawing money for them.  The kid-friendly stuff doesn't make dad want to buy the PPVs for junior but if you give him something to enjoy too, it would lead to more purchases.  Why the company doesn't realize that marketing to kids doesn't HAVE to mean alienating adults is beyond my comprehension.  Anyway, WWE gave Punk the freedom to say what he wanted to say in his promo.  He was told that at some point, they would cut off his mic and that would be the end of it.
