Since the Sinclair Broadcasting Group wants more recognizable faces do yo u see ROH going after Chris Jericho?

I see two things in play here.  One, Sinclair wants to see what they have in ROH before they spend the kind of money on a contract it would take to get Jericho.  More importantly, Jericho has made it clear that if he returns to wrestling (I say when actually), it will be for WWE.  So, I don't think it's an option.

Is it me or does FCW really do a poor job in developing guys for the WWE? The only people who make it out of there and have any kind of success in FCW are people who had their training else where. I have yet to see any truly "home grown" talent start in FCW and truly get over in WWE. Alex Riley might be the closest guy I can think of and he has been in the system for like 4+ years by now.

I don't know if I would say poor, but it hasn't been great either.  I don't blame them as much as the WWE talent procurement process overall.  I think that WWE should be spending more money on talent development as they don't have the feeder system in place that existed years ago.  If they don't make their new stars they will be in trouble down the road.

Why does WWE seem to always go out of their way to make fun of and emasculate their play by play announcers? What good does that do anybody? And maybe I’m over-thinking it here, but has anyone ever considered the possibility behind why they have such a hard time finding someone that the fans will accept now that Jim Ross isn’t around as much as he used to be?

I agree with you here.  While Michael Cole did a great job in playing the jerk heel, I prefer to see the announcers announce and get the talent over.  Jim Ross had credibility with the fans and that carried over when he said someone was good.  WWE would be well served to get back to that kind of thinking.

Recently you said we would probably never know why Savage-McMahon was what it was, but Piper commented that Savage slapped Vince in a bar and it was that simple, could it be that simple?

If it turned out that was it, I would be surprised.  That doesn't seem like an important enough reason to me.

Just been watching some old tapes and saw the Matt Hardy vs. Edge street fight after the internet/Lita saga. Now it looked to me like they were really punching each other. I know there was a lot of bad blood there, but were they really hitting each other or were they just making it look real?

They were making it look real to play off of all of the legitimate bad blood that had gone down.  Matt and Edge aren't exactly your MMA types of guys.
