RECENT TNA DEPARTURES, WHAT IF THERE WAS NO MONTREAL SCREWJOB, ANDY LEAVINE AND MORE

So I am confused about something. Is TNA called TNA any longer? Are they simply going to be known as Impact Wrestling? It seems counter productive to completely drop the name you have been known by for almost a decade. With their history of changing direction at a moments notice they could change it again in two months time. Thanks, I've been a fan since you guys were at the old site.

The company is still officially TNA Wrestling and their parent company is TNA Entertainment. They are pushing the Impact Wrestling name harder now with their domain, Twitter, Facebook, etc. accounts reflecting that. So, TNA exists but they are going to promote themselves harder as Impact.

How much did Andy having a wife and kid do you think had to do with him winning Tough Enough? Luke was single and Austin seemed to mention it everytime he talked to Andy on the show.

I haven't heard that Andy's family played into his Tough Enough win, but they obviously incorporated it into the story of the series and his push to win the contest as a way to build sympathy around him.

As a wrestling fan the Montreal Screwjob still ranks to me as the most controversial moment in history. But what if the Montreal Screwjob NEVER happened? How different would the wrestling landscape be?

Pretty different. We wouldn't have had Mr. McMahon and without McMahon to play off of, how big would Steve Austin have gotten? Would Bret Hart have returned to WWE sooner? Would WWF have overtaken WCW? If they hadn't, would WCW have still imploded? Where would ECW have stood? Pretty interesting to think about, eh?

Do you feel that in six months time that Lance HOYT will become the most popular wrestler and the top draw in the industry?

I like Hoyt's work and wish he had been given a better shot in WWE, but I don't see him or anyone leapfrogging everyone in the business and ending up in that position.

I read where both Mick Foley and Tommy Dreamer will not be returning to TNA (Impact Wrestling). Although its disapointing to see them go will this leave to possibly freeing up extra money for TNA to perhaps sign other free agent wrestlers out there both male & female? Perhaps former WWE Diva/Straight Edge Society Member Serena.

It's possible, but I haven't heard anything about new talent acquisitions of late.
