Why doesn't the WWE advertise for WWE Superstars ever? Would it be so hard to show a graphic for a match on Superstars instead of their self congratulatory facts each week? Also why don't they try to put Superstars on Netflix?

The bottom line is that it is so far down the food chain that they just don't care.  Even when it aired on WGN, they stopped pushing it.  Now, with no TV clearance for the show in the US, it matters even less.  Raw, Smackdown and Tough Enough are their focus.  Superstars has bottom of the roster talents on it so it just doesn't get a push.

Should next year be Taker's final Mania match, the historical significance and attention it draws might be enough to draw even the least likely wrestler to petition to become the final victim of the streak. Out of all talents, active and retired, who would make the best opponent for the Dead Man? I'd suggest Sting, Batista, Edge (if he really could), and even Steve Austin.

If it's his last match, it would have to be someone with an issue with Taker.  That eliminates Sting and Batista.  Edge is retired, so he is out too.  Austin would be a possibility, if he wanted to work a match, as would Triple H, Vince McMahon, Mick Foley and Kane (due to their history with the character).

Is there a reason why some of the true greats of the business (Hogan, Flair, Austin, etc.) haven't taken advantage of their name value and opened their own wrestling schools?

It's a lot of work for not all that much financial return running a school.  In a lot of ways it's a labor of love.  Austin has a lot more lucrative things going on.  Hogan and Flair need to earn more money than a school could generate.

In most comparisons, WWE beats TNA. But who comes out on top when comparing ring announcers? I'd give TNA a slight edge.

I think they all do a solid job.

Have any Japanese promotions ever attempted to bring their wrestling product into the U.S. market in the past or present?

On a full-fledged basis, no.  Companies have sent workers over to appear on shows of US promotions, but no company has actually run the US on a regular/full time basis.
