Why do you think last week on Raw there was no mention of CM Punk wearing an outfit in on honor of Randy Savage? I thought it was pretty cool of Punk to do that as I'm sure he was a huge fan of Savage growing up.
It was Punk's tribute. WWE obviously did their own for Savage as well. Mentioning Punk's tribute would have made a guy that is a heel come off as more of a face so I understand why they didn't do it.
Will there ever be a TNA pay per view in New York City?
Ever is a long time. I don't see them getting one there in the near future due to the fact that they have had an inconsistent history of drawing at shows, plus the NY market is very expensive to run live PPVs in. Down the road, if they can grow their product, I could see them maybe running a venue like The Hammerstein Ballroom but I don't think it will be any time soon.
Pro Wrestling Ohio is currently doing an angle involving Marion Fontaine and (for lack of a better term) a writer from another Internet site. Has any promotion ever asked you be involved in a storyline? If they did, I'm guessing you declined?
We have no interest in doing something like that. We feel our job is to cover the business and we have no desire to be a part of it. We feel being part of the show crosses the line of good journalism. I don't remember ever being asked to do so but I wouldn't be part of a storyline if I was asked. Who would want to see it anyway?
I don't understand Chyna at all. She had a great run in the WWF/E when DX was in its prime. She was the first and only woman to hold The WWF/E Intercontinental Championship...TWICE!! She was Women's Champion and now all that I see is a horrific ending coming if someone doesn't help her and/or she helps herself! Did she blow her chance at TNA now that she is doing a second porn movie?? I just don't get it. I know that HHH is part of the reason that she isn't in the WWF/E anymore. But I can't blame her current status on the man. She has had time to recover. Your thoughts?
Yes, the porn movie cost her a spot in TNA, as it should have. TNA really didn't have a choice there. With that said, I truly believe Chyna got so much success so quickly back in the WWF that it gave her a skewed view of how easy it was to achieve. I don't blame HHH at all for the decisions that she has made. Everyone is responsible for themselves and she has made a rash of really poor choices after having success in WWE. I don't understand self-destructive behavior either so I can't even begin to explain why she has done the things that she has done. All I know is that she has had a lot of good opportunities and has wasted them. It's kind of mind-blowing to me because she is not a stupid person.
In yesterday Q&A you said maybe H vs. Taker @ SSlam to set up a rubber match @ WM 27, but since Taker won @ both WM 17 & WM 27, how would this b the rubber match? Taker's already up 2-0!
I was referring to them going forward as if Mania started the series. The fact of the matter is, the past and present in WWE is what they tell us it is. Much like they never mentioned the Mania 17 match going into this year's show, if they ignore it going forward than the reality they present us with is what the "truth" is.
