I sent JR a question on his Q&A a few times and it always tends to be one of the ones he erases and doesn't answer. I thought it was appropriate, but maybe you guys know something I don't since I didn't follow the backstage/insider news of wrestling in 1996. Why was JR the one to "bring in" the fake Diesel and Razor Ramon after Hall and Nash left? It came off very random to have the Raw/Superstars announcer just out of the blue promote and then bring in these guys, especially having no previous on-screen relationship with Diesel or Ramon. There must have been some reason they picked him out of everyone else.

The company wanted the heat of their decision to bring in a new Diesel and Razor Ramon on Ross, not them as the idea was to portray Ross as this antiquated heel announcer that had lost his mind. It was one of the company's many attempts to replace him as the lead announcer and like all the others, it failed.

Great job on the site, as always. Here’s my question: With Kharma starting to work her way through the Divas, wouldn’t this be a great time to re-introduce Kaitlyn? It seems like she would have the strength to contend with Kharma’s size; alternately, am I trying too hard to apply logic to WWE storylines?

It's an interesting idea but obviously that can't happen given Kharma's pregnancy. Kaitlyn has been on recent Smackdown episodes, so you are getting your fill of her again, however.

Love the site, been an elite subscriber since day 1. In an effort to escape the growing amount of cliché and boring matches the WWE jams down our throats (see Cena & his sequence of doom..) where would one start if he wanted to move beyond the domestic wrestling scene and watch some Japanese since you guys hold it in such high regard. I’m just not quite sure where to start.

I'd hit Youtube and maybe some wrestling conventions looking for the footage. If you are seeking some of the older matches, I'd start with Kenta Kobashi, Jushin Liger and MItsuharu Misawa, then go from there. There are lots of websites that you can use to follow that scene, including PuroresuFan.com.

Now that Randy Savage has left us, has anyone provided a definitive answer as to what caused the mysterious animosity between Savage and Vince McMahon?

No and it'll never be revealed.

I read where veteran manager/star Bobby Heenan will be appearing at the NWA Legends FanFest in Atlanta, GA in August of this year. I hope to see him there. How is he doing these days?

Heenan's health has seen better days, but he's still hanging in there. That man is quite the inspiration in my mind and I wish him and his family nothing but the best.
