FANS, WRESTLERS ASKED ABOUT WRESTLING'S MOST CONTROVERSIAL MOMENT
In this nutty business, there's been more than handful of controversial moments. The business thrives on them. Last year, fans were polled as to what they thought was the most controversial moment. The results are in, tabulated, and on display in the series premiere of "Wrestling's Most...", a brand new series from shoot-style DVD producers Kayfabe Commentaries.
The series is a countdown style show, wherein the fans' top 5 results are revealed, with one catch...the results are critiqued by a dozen of wrestling's familiar faces. 12 stars of pro wrestling were shown the results and interviewed for this fun and fast paced show. Tammy Sytch, Road Warrior Animal, Chyna, Bill Apter, Kip James, Danny Doring, The Honky Tonk Man, JJ Dillon and more commented on the fans' top 5 most controversial moments.
The cross section of talent featured in these 100% original interviews makes for an interesting combination. Maria Kanellis takes a mostly jocular view of everything, The Masked Superstar is no-nonsense in his evaluations of pro wrestling's most controversial moments, Kip James is the life of the party, and JJ Dillon comes from mostly a business perspective. It's a cast that Kayfabe Commentaries president Sean Oliver says was right on the money.
"This is such a great mix, we're so happy to have assembled these guys and gals for the whole first year of 'Wrestling's Most...' " Oliver began. "The series is a very tricky formula, since we're bouncing back and forth between people's opinoins for an hour. The mix needed to be a little historical, a little old school, a little new school, and good talkers all of them. We're thrilled at the result, and I think it will be cited that Kayfabe Commentaries has once again taken the shoot-style interview into a whole new arena."
