WRESTLEMANIA IN NORTH CAROLINA, TNA CHANGING IMPACT'S NAME IN RESPONSE TO WWE'S CHANGES, CHRISTIAN LOSING THE BELT AND MORE

I know Wrestlemania tends to go to bigger venues like Miami, L.A., New York, and Chicago. Some of these cities have hosted the event multiple times. Why hasn't Vince ever let it come to Charlotte, NC? It can't be an issue of attendance, The Time Warner Cable arena in Charlotte can hold about 20,000 but Wrestlemania 11 was at the Hartford Civic Center in CT, which holds only around 16,000 and Wrestlemania 22 in Chicago only had like 17,000 attendees. Do you ever see it coming to NC?

If WWE is going to bring Mania to NC, they are going to hold it at the Bank of America Stadium as WWE wants their flagship in huge venues. The only exception I can see if WWE running Mania at say Madison Square Garden out of respect for where they launched the show, since there is no indoor stadium in the NYC area. I can absolutely see Mania coming to Charlotte, if the city wants to bid on it and make itself a partner the way that other locales have done in recent years.

Next year at Wrestlemania, we have The Rock vs John Cena confirmed. If WWE books Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker or Sting vs The Undertaker as top matches. Will this make like an automatic a million buys for this PPV?

I don't know if anything would ever equal a guaranteed million buys, but I'd sure as hell consider that to be a great double main event.

Why is that during the Extreme Rules PPV, we had to endure like three matches with 2 commentators. I am OK with Josh Matthews being a play by play commentator but Booker T doesn't have the IT factor to be a color commentator. Why doesn't WWE add talented voices like Matt Stryker, William Regal or even CM Punk to add color? Even at Raw and Smackdown TV tapings, when they are two commentators, mostly a third one is added. Why did they just add a third one on a PPV and neutralize Booker T's inexperienced remarks?

First, I want to say that I actually enjoy Booker on commentary. He's finding his way. As far as why WWE utilizes the team that they do, it all comes down to Kevin Dunn. That's what he wants and that's what's going to happen as long as he remains in power.

Is the Christian Title Loss any greater of an indication that Vince McMahon is out of touch with the direction of his product?

I think a greater indication would be WWE's continued inability to tap into more of the modern styles of culture, but some of that is that the company is purposely being homogenized for PG. If Christian dropping the belt after two days means we get more matches like we did at Over the Limit and a stronger storyline for him over the next several months, who cares whether he has the belt or not?

Do you find it coincidental that WWE decides to stop going by World Wrestling Entertainment in favor of just WWE, effectively dropping wrestling from it's name and right after TNA Changes TNA Impact to Impact Wrestling?

While I am sure that TNA is pushing the wrestling name harder as a way to differentiate themselves from WWE in the wake of WWE's name change and rebranding, the reality is the Impact name change had been going on for many, many, many months internally. It's not a case of TNA reacting to what WWE decided to do.
