Don't you think it's about time Taz retires that stupid "pigeon" comment he makes every time Velvet Sky enters the ring on Impact every week? I mean enough already.
It probably has run its course, yes. It's time to come up with a new way to say "I am really excited and ready to blow".
We're about halfway through Tough Enough and the ratings started great but have dropped a bit since. What have you heard in regards to USA and what they are thinking about the ratings? Will there be another season? I think the show is great.
I love the show too and hope it gets renewed. As I type this on 5/13, I have not heard if it will be back or not. I have heard that when the ratings went down, USA considered moving it to after Raw and putting NCIS back in the 8 p.m. slot. I think that if it comes back, we will probably see them do that with the show.
Why did WWE stop running Survivor Series on Thanksgiving night? And would help the PPV if it went back to Thanksgiving night?
The world changed and they found that there was more an audience for the event on a Sunday night. I don't think going back to Thanksgiving would help at all. I think it would be just the opposite. Plus, the concept just doesn't work any more since so many people team up on a regular basis now due the demands of TV. There isn't any special feel to the show any more.
Why is everyone so mad The Rock and John Cena match in a year? It means we get to have The Rock for a year in WWE.
I can't speak for everyone but I think in many cases it's due to the fact that people aren't sure how WWE will be able to book a match that far out. It's a challenge since they can't heat it up too soon, but it also in some ways makes everything that happens with Cena secondary until next year.
Jeff Katz (the Hollywood producer) is in the initial stages of starting a wrestling television show. He is trying to fund it through this website: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/790983338/wrestling-revolution. Could you give it a plug and do you think it will work?
There's the plug! I hope it works out for him but I have to admit that I doubt it. You need capital and a TV slot to make a venture like this work and without those I am very skeptical that it will have success.
