Kurt Angle is talking about training to wrestle in the 2012 Olympics.  I think he is just blowing smoke, like he did when he said he was going into MMA.  What do you think?

Angle was a great in his time, but that was a long time ago.  Athletes almost never get better with age either and competition tends get get better.  I think it's just one of those goofy things that Angle says from time to time.  Maybe he is doing the training but at his age and with his injury history I don't see any way that he makes the team as a wrestler.

Stephanie McMahon-Levesque recently said she would come back to TV if the fans wanted it.  Do you think that will happen?

I could see her making occasional appearances but I really don't think she has much desire to have an on-camera role right now.  She has a very important backstage job in the company and three young daughters at home.  She doesn't even go to all of the shows anymore, so I don't see her wanting to return to a recurring role that require her to travel every week at this time.

Steve Austin has said that if he had to, he could wrestle two more years at this point in his life.  Do you think that means he will return to the ring for one last run?

I don't.  I think what he was saying was if he HAD to, he could do that.  He doesn't have to.  He has made a lot of money and has things in Hollywood that keep him busy (and Tough Enough if it gets renewed).  He doesn't HAVE to wrestle.  Plus, he retired when he did because of concerns of doing permanent damage to himself due to issues with his neck and spine.  While he feels better now after being out of the ring for a few years, those pains and potential problems would come back in a hurry were he to return to an active wrestling role.

Do you think that Edge will come back to work with WWE in some capacity now that he is retired?  And, do you think he will stay retired?

To answer your second question first, yes I think he will stay retired.  He had a great career but is also a young man still.  Taking chances with your health is insane and he is not crazy.  Every time guys wrestle there is a chance for injury but in his case the odds are way higher, and to be permanently disabled no less.  I think we have seen his last match because he is a smart guy and was actually considering retirement at the time he got the news he had to hang up the boots.  I could definitely see him coming back to WWE in some capacity down the road.  He is a young man and I don't think he is ready to sit around the house all day doing nothing.  I could see him working with young talent or being a great commentator.

I think Santino Marella is hilarious.  Do you think he could go from being just a comedy guy to someone who challenges for the WWE Title?

Anything is possible but I think Santino is better off in the spot that he is in now.  It is a reliable slot on the roster that is pretty safe whereas if he were to try and get elevated and fail, he could then find himself on the way out.
