DOING THE DRAFT ON A PPV GO HOME WEEK, A PPV SET IN THE UK, MANIA BONUSES, WWE BREAKING SMOKING LAWS AND MORE

I live in Manchester England, and went to SummerSlam 92 when they were in London. I also attend all the Raw and house shows in Manchester. Now I know its looking less and less likely that WWE will bring Mania over here, but what are the chances of Vince bringing a secondary PPV to the UK?

It is a very tough thing for WWE to do since the UK is five hours ahead of the east coast and with the internet being what it is, spoilers getting out can hurt the buyrates.  Because of that, I think that the best you can hope for are TV tapings.  It's a shame too because the UK fans are great and loyal.  WWE would love to do PPVs there but the spoiler effect is just too costly for them.

Holding the draft on the go-home show before a PPV is ridiculous. Surely they could wait a week so we don't know which feuds are definitely ending after Extreme Rules. With WWE desperate for talent, wouldn't this be a good time for them to bring back MVP? He's been gone about 5 months, and has gotten some experience in Japan. I know they need to create new stars, but it seems to me like MVP would be the perfect candidate to come back and make it to the main event. He's also been gone long enough that his 'losing streak' would be forgotten. Would you bring him back, and are there other available talents you would sign?

It was definitely an odd time to do the draft show.  I too would have done it after Extreme Rules but they felt the need to mix things up asap.  Edge's retirement and Undertaker's injuries really hurt the Smackdown brand.  They felt they needed to get Randy Orton over there quickly.  I agree on MVP, I would have never let him go.  I think he has a lot to offer the company.

As you may or may not be aware, there is a smoking ban in all public buildings in the UK. So seeing R-Truth light up in the arena really did surprise me and i doubt he did so without WWE's permission. so my question is, what kind of trouble did WWE get into for this.

If they got in any trouble, I have not heard about it.  It's possible that it was OK for them to do since it was part of an entertainment show, and not a random person smoking.

Watching the Santino vs. Gabriel match on RAW on March 28, it got me to wondering – How do the wrestlers feel when they have to job out to a real lame finishing move? Is there ever concern that it weakens them? I know that Gabriel is green, and that Santino is basically a comedy character, but, getting wiped out by The Cobra? And, it’s not just the comedy guys (Santino, Hornswoggle, etc.) with the weak finishers. The Samoan spike from Umaga? Even Undertaker got pinned from the Brain Chop from Khali.

As a general rule, if you ask them off the record most wrestlers are never happy with their position.  I know a lot of guys that have hated doing bad finishes and jobbing to good spots, let alone lame ones.  But at the end of the day, they work for the promoter and if they want to keep cashing that check, they have to do what they have to do.

Because Daniel Bryan and Sheamus worked the dark match at WM27, do they still get a payday from the event? Also, do the FCW talents that were barbarians get paydays from the event? If so, would they get more than Bryan and Sheamus because there weren't on the main PPV?

PPV bonuses (and house show/merchandise bonuses for that matter) are totally at the discretion of the company, unless a wrestler gets them written into his deal.  In this case, it is my understanding that Sheamus and Bryan are getting a bonus for the PPV.  I would assume that the FCW guys will get one too, but I can't say that with any degree of certainty.
